Job summary

Deloitte Shared Services India in Mumbai seeks an experienced SAP FICO professional to oversee AR/AP/GL processes within the S/4HANA framework. You will analyze data, develop reports, and ensure integration with other SAP modules, aligning with India taxation and local requirements.

You will liaise with global SAP teams, test changes, monitor service desk incidents, and deliver training for new features. Hybrid work setup in Mumbai with strong analytical and communication skills is expected.

Qualifications

• SAP certification in the S4 HANA Finance & Controlling (FICO) module is mandatory.
• 5 years or more of business experience in Finance and accounts.
• 3-5 years of SAP FICO implementation is required
• Experience in SAP developments like reports, interfaces, forms and enhancements
• Ability to perform standard SAP FICO transactions in AP/AR & GL
• Knowledge of SAP S4 HANA tables
• SAP GST solution know-how is a must
• Withholding tax know-how is a must
• Good understanding of the support process
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between stakeholders and Deloitte's SAP teams to identify business needs and implement solutions.
• Understand Deloitte's global SAP template and perform transactions on S/4HANA.
• Ensure integration of module with other SAP components.
• Test solutions on SAP S4 HANA UAT for global/local change requests per BRD.
• Monitor incidents with global and local service desks for timely resolution.
• Develop and deliver training for new features and write functional specs.
• Create BRDs and use cases; draft interfaces to connect peripheral systems.
• Assist data migration tasks.

The team

The Enabling Areas Information Technology team is responsible for building & maintaining different applications for Deloitte that focuses on providing employee experience.

Your work profile

Primary purpose of the role:

The role is to operate at the DSA cluster level, overseeing the SAP process area, Accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounting.

Responsible for business analysis and SAP report development, focusing on functional aspects including testing and confirmation.

Handling support for the reports deployed

Identifying critical demands and creating a mechanism to track their progress using the analytical tools, and creating dashboards

Major responsibilities & deliverables:

Act as a liaison between the stakeholder and Deloitte’s global SAP technical or implementation team to identify business needs, analyze data, and implement the solution.

A comprehensive understanding of Deloitte’s global SAP template solution, including the ability to perform transactions on the S/4HANA system.

A comprehensive understanding of your module’s integration with other SAP modules.

Test the solutions provided by the global team on the SAP S4 HANA UAT instance for the global and local change requests to ensure that the solution is deployed as per the business requirement document & aligning to India taxation requirements.

Monitor support incidents raised with the global service desk for their timely completion/resolution

Monitor support incidents raised with the local service desk for reports locally developed for their timely completion/resolution

Developing and delivering training for the new features.

Report or dashboard creation writing a functional specification giving the detailed technical logic for report development.

Developing business requirement document, use cases

Drafting the functional specifications for the interfaces needed to connect peripheral systems.
