Job summary

EY in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced SAP FI Manager to lead S/4HANA FI design, configuration and implementation across GL, AP, AR and related modules. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant SAP FI solutions while guiding a cross-functional team in an onsite-offshore delivery model.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years of SAP FI/CO experience, strong client-facing skills, and a track record of end-to-end project delivery in SAP Finance.

In this role we are looking for an experienced SAP S4 HANA FI Manager to join our growing SAP Finance team. In this role, you will lead and support SAP FI design, configuration, and implementation activities across a range of projects. You will work closely with business stakeholders to deliver innovative, scalable, and compliant solutions within the SAP FI/CO landscape.

Your Key Responsibilities

The primary function of this position is to work as a team member in different phases of various ongoing SAP Implementation Projects and contribute effectively to the area of SAP S4 HANA FICO General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts receivable, Bank Accounting Taxation, and Fixed Assets functionalities, Cost center and profit center Accounting, knowledge in COPA, Marginal Analysis, Product Costing and Material Ledger with a preferred background in the relevant industry. The Specialist will work in the implementation of all the above modules as part of the S4HANA Finance Transformation project, ensuring seamless integration with other third‑party systems. Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinators. Completion of assigned tasks on time and regular status reporting to the manager/lead.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements independently (Mandatory skill) Ability to drive design workshops independently with the client (Mandatory skill) Must be able to prepare the materials for the design workshops independently (Mandatory skill) Must send out the Meeting Minutes of the Workshop post each workshop that he/she leads (Mandatory skill) Follow up on the action items from the workshops Experience on FIORI APPS, BO-DS, BW, HANA and other reporting tools. Prior client facing consulting experience. SAP Finance/Controlling Certification is a plus.

Candidate must be a qualified

CA / ICWA / ICMA/ MBA Finance in a reputed institution with a sound industry/domain experience and SAP relevant experience with 7 to 10 years in SAP FI. Experience of having worked in an onsite- offshore delivery model Experience with leading business blueprint, gathering and documenting business requirements and designing SAP enabled solutions Development of project documentation including business process flows, training materials, requirements gathering and project management methodology experience required Experience should be in End-to-end Implementation, Rollout, Support, upgrade, enhancements in the below areas. SAP Finance – FI- Organization structure, New General Ledger, FI-Accounts Payable, FI-Accounts Receivable, FI-Bank accounting and FI-Asset Accounting. SAP Finance – Taxation and Withholding Taxes. SAP Finance – Closing activities, Validations and Substitutions & Reporting. Controlling- CO-Cost Center Accounting, CO-Profit Center Accounting and CO-Internal Orders. Knowledge and Hands on experience in CO-Profitability Analysis & Product Costing (Planning and cost object controlling) and Material Ledger Actual Costing. FI integration with MM, SD, PP & PS. Excellent business communication skills.
