Job summary

GyanSys Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP/EWM technical developer in Bengaluru to design, develop and support SAP EWM solutions. You will implement ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, BAdIs and function modules, while handling RF framework and PPF actions.

The role includes interfaces with ERP/S/4HANA, IDocs/RFC, Web Services, forms, and production support. Requirements include 4–8 years of SAP ABAP/EWM experience, strong knowledge of EWM architecture, and hands-on work

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in SAP ABAP/EWM technical development.
• Strong knowledge of SAP EWM technical architecture and processes.
• Hands-on ABAP Objects, Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, BAdIs, and Function Modules.
• Experience with EWM RF Framework and RF transactions.
• Understanding of PPF (Post Processing Framework).
• Experience with IDocs, RFC, Web Services, APIs and SAP integration technologies.
• Experience in debugging and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and embedded/decentralized EWM.
• Experience with Adobe Forms / Smart Forms.
• Understanding warehouse processes: inbound/outbound, putaway, picking, packing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test SAP EWM solutions end-to-end.
• Develop ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, BAdIs, and function modules.
• Work on EWM-specific technical objects and developments.
• Develop RF transactions and RF framework functionality.
• Configure and develop PPF actions and related objects.
• Address Warehouse Order/Task/Delivery/Handling Unit/Queue requirements.
• Build interfaces between SAP EWM and ERP/S/4HANA.
• Work with IDocs, RFC, Web Services, and APIs for integration.
• Develop and troubleshoot forms (Adobe/Smart Forms).
• Analyze issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide fixes.
• Participate in design, development, unit/integration testing, and deployment.
• Prepare technical specs and documentation.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and other teams.
• Provide production support and handle upgrades with standards.

Job description

• Design, develop, test, and implement technical solutions in SAP EWM.
• Develop and maintain ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, BAdIs, user exits, and function modules.
• Work on EWM-specific technical objects and developments.
• Develop and enhance RF transactions and RF framework functionality.
• Configure and develop PPF actions and related technical objects.
• Work on Warehouse Order, Warehouse Task, Delivery, Handling Unit, and Queue-related technical requirements.
• Develop and support interfaces between SAP EWM and ERP/S/4HANA.
• Work with IDocs, RFCs, Web Services, APIs, and other integration technologies.
• Develop and troubleshoot forms, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and print-related solutions.
• Analyze production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide technical fixes.
• Participate in requirement gathering, technical design, development, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment.
• Prepare technical specifications and documentation for developments.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, integration teams, and other technical teams.
• Support SAP EWM implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and production support activities.
• Follow development standards, code quality guidelines, and change-management processes.

Required Technical Skills

• 4–8 years of experience in SAP ABAP/EWM Technical development.
• Strong knowledge of SAP EWM technical architecture and processes.
• Strong hands-on experience in ABAP Objects, Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, BAdIs, and Function Modules.
• Experience with EWM RF Framework and RF transactions.
