Job summary

Neev is seeking a SAP EWM Technical Developer to design, build, and optimize advanced EWM solutions across PAN INDIA. You will translate complex business requirements into robust technical implementations, ensuring seamless warehouse operations and high-performing system integrations.

The role focuses on ABAP development, RF screens, interfaces, and qRFC/Web Services/API integrations, with emphasis on debugging and performance tuning in ECC/S/4HANA environments.

Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of hands-on SAP EWM technical development experience.
• Strong ABAP and OO ABAP skills with modern development paradigms.
• Experience with ABAP on HANA, CDS Views and AMDP.
• Deep EWM knowledge: RF Framework, EWM Monitor enhancements, BAdIs, and enhancements.
• Interfaces using qRFC, Web Services, and APIs.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance SAP EWM objects including RF screens, IDocs, BAdIs, user exits, and interfaces.
• Provide technical support and custom enhancements for inbound, outbound, putaway, picking, packing, and inventory workflows.
• Build and maintain integrations between SAP EWM and ECC/S/4HANA using qRFC, Web Services, and APIs.
• Leverage Warehouse Tasks, Warehouse Orders, Goods Receipt and Goods Issue in implementations.
• Debug, resolve issues, and optimize performance of custom EWM code and DB queries.
• Participate in full-lifecycle EWM implementations, rollouts, or ongoing support projects.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business analysts to translate specs into scalable solutions.

About The Role

Job Title: SAP EWM Technical

SAP EWM Technical Developer to design, build, and optimize advanced Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions. In this role, you will work closely with functional teams to translate complex business requirements into robust technical implementations, ensuring seamless warehouse operations and high-performing system integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Enhancement

• Custom Objects: Design, develop, and enhance core EWM technical objects, including RF (Radio Frequency) screens, IDocs, BAdIs, user exits, and custom interfaces.
• Warehouse Processes: Provide technical support and custom enhancements for key warehouse workflows: Inbound, Outbound, Putaway, Picking, Packing, and Inventory Management.

Integration & Architecture

• System Connectivity: Build and maintain seamless integrations between SAP EWM and ECC or S/4HANA using qRFC, Web Services, and APIs.
• Warehouse Objects: Leverage deep understanding of core warehouse objects such as Warehouse Tasks (WT), Warehouse Orders (WO), Goods Receipt (GR), and Goods Issue (GI).

Optimization & Support

• Performance Tuning: Perform rigorous debugging, issue resolution, and performance optimization for custom EWM code and database queries.
• Project Lifecycle: Participate actively in full-lifecycle EWM implementations, rollouts, or ongoing support projects.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with functional consultants and business analysts to translate functional specifications into clean, scalable technical solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 4 to 7 years of hands-on SAP EWM technical development experience.
• Core ABAP: Strong background in ABAP, OO ABAP, and modern development paradigms including ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, and AMDP (Managed Database Procedures).
• EWM Technical Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with the RF Framework, EWM Monitor enhancements, BAdIs, and enhancement spots.
• Integration Protocols: Demonstrated proficiency in building interfaces using qRFC, Web Services, and APIs.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving capabilities, strong debugging skills, and clear communication to collaborate effectively across global or cross-functional teams.
