Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced SAP EWM Technical Consultant to design, develop, enhance, and support SAP EWM solutions. You will work with functional experts and cross‑functional teams to deliver warehouse management capabilities, interfaces, and integrations across SAP S/4HANA, ECC, TM, MES, and third‑party systems.

You will craft technical designs, perform unit testing, and participate in upgrades and migrations, ensuring best practices and robust support for production systems.

Qualifications

Extensive hands-on SAP EWM architecture knowledge, including embedded and decentralized deployments.
Strong ABAP/OO development skills and experience with SAP Enhancement Framework.
Experience with BAdIs, User Exits, and custom enhancements in EWM environments.
Proficient in designing and implementing RICEFW components and reports.
Familiarity with EWM integrations using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and web services.

Responsibilities

Analyse requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Design, develop, test, and support SAP EWM technical solutions.
Develop RF Frameworks, PPF actions, and related enhancements.
Create interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and web services.
Ensure SAP best practices and perform code reviews.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for deployments and upgrades.

We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Technical Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) technical development and integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP EWM solutions while collaborating with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver warehouse management solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Design, develop, test, and implement SAP EWM technical solutions.
Develop and enhance:
- RF Framework developments
- PPF Actions
- BAdIs and User Exits
- Enhancements using Enhancement Framework
- Custom Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Forms, and Workflows (RICEFW)
Develop inbound and outbound interfaces using:
- IDocs
- BAPIs
- RFCs
- Web Services
- APIs
Create and maintain custom warehouse transactions and monitor programs.
Work on SAP EWM integration with:
- SAP S/4HANA
- SAP ERP ECC
- SAP TM
- SAP MES
- Third-Party Warehouse Automation Systems
Perform code reviews and ensure development follows SAP best practices.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support.
Prepare technical design documents, functional specifications, unit test cases, and deployment plans.
Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and migration projects.

Required Technical Skills

SAP EWM

Strong knowledge of SAP EWM architecture and technical objects.
Experience with Embedded and Decentralized EWM.
Understanding of warehouse processes including:
- Inbound Processing
