Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant with deep expertise in retail and FMCG warehouse operations, localization requirements, and automation technologies including RFID and barcode integrations. The ideal candidate should be a professional-level SAP-certified consultant, capable of driving end-to-end EWM solution design, implementation, and optimization across multi-country environments, particularly within the MEA region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP EWM implementations from requirement gathering, blueprinting, and configuration to deployment and post-go-live support.
• Design and optimize warehouse management processes tailored to retail and FMCG operations.
• Integrate SAP EWM with other modules such as MM, SD, TM, PP, and external systems (RFID/barcode automation, handheld devices, WCS).
• Drive localization and regional compliance solutions across MEA geographies.
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting, performance optimization, and stakeholder guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to solution standardization and best practices.
• Prepare detailed functional design documents (FDDs), test scripts, and training materials.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5 to 8 years of proven experience in SAP EWM implementation and support roles.

Minimum 3 full lifecycle implementations, including at least one in the retail or FMCG sector.

Strong knowledge of:

• Inbound / Outbound Processes
• Putaway / Picking / Packing / Wave Management
• Handling Unit Management (HUM)
• RF Framework and Barcode / RFID Integrations

Experience with localization and compliance requirements in the MEA or GCC region.
