Job summary

GMG in India seeks a Senior Manager for SAP EWM to lead end-to-end design, implementation, and support of warehouse management solutions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, manage project teams, and ensure successful delivery of EWM projects across the organization.

The role requires extensive SAP EWM experience, strong cross-functional leadership, and ability to coordinate with SAP ERP modules (MM, SD, WM).

Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP EWM implementation and support experience.
• Proven track record of leading SAP EWM projects.
• Experience with SAP ERP and related modules such as MM, SD, WM.

Responsibilities

SAP EWM - Senior Manager is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and support of SAP Extended Warehouse Management solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization's warehousing operations. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, managing project teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of EWM projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP EWM implementation projects from inception to completion.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
• Coordinate project activities, resources, and timelines.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Design end-to-end SAP EWM solutions to meet business needs.
• Ensure the integration of EWM with other SAP modules and third-party systems.

Implementation and Configuration

• Configure SAP EWM modules according to business requirements.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure the solution meets functional and performance requirements.
• Oversee data migration, user acceptance testing, and system go-live activities.

Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide expert guidance.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for end-users.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.

People Management

The incumbent is responsible for setting clear objectives and performance targets in collaboration with team members, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals. This role involves actively mentoring, guiding, and providing direction to the team to cultivate skill development, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement. The incumbent applies structured performance management practices to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and drive the team towards achieving periodic KPIs. Through strategic oversight and regular feedback, the incumbent fosters a results-oriented environment, empowering the team to meet and exceed established benchmarks while supporting both individual and collective growth.

Experience :

• Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in SAP EWM implementation and support.
• Proven track record of leading SAP EWM projects.
• Experience with SAP ERP and other related modules (e.g., MM, SD, WM).
