Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking a SAP EHS Regulatory Consultant S/4HANA for CPG/FMCG in India. The role focuses on implementing compliance features within SAP S/4HANA, migrating from legacy systems, and ensuring adherence to global regulations across product safety, labeling, and dangerous goods.

The candidate should drive end-to-end regulatory projects, configure SDS management and UFI/PCN processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed compliance into business

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Product Compliance and data migration.
• Knowledge of global regulatory frameworks (GHS, CLP, REACH, TSCA).
• Experience with EU PCN and UFI generation for packaging.
• Background in CPG/FMCG sectors and product compliance workflows.

Responsibilities

• Assess legacy regulatory processes, map to S/4HANA EHS capabilities, and perform gap analysis.
• Design and implement SAP S/4HANA Product Compliance solutions including Product Safety and Dangerous Goods.
• Configure SDS management, labeling, and WWI reports for regulatory documentation.
• Lead end-to-end migration from non-SAP EHS/regulatory systems to SAP S/4HANA Product Compliance.
• Support testing, cutover planning, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization.

Job description

Job Role: SAP EHS Regulatory Consultant S/4HANA (CPG / FMCG)

Experience: 4+ Years

Key Responsibilities

• Assess legacy regulatory processes and data, perform gap analysis, and map to S/4HANA EHS capabilities
• Design and implement SAP S/4HANA Product Compliance solutions including Product Safety and Dangerous Goods
• Configure SDS management, labeling, and WWI reports for regulatory documentation
• Configure and support UFI (Unique Formula Identifier) generation and maintenance
• Support EU Poison Centre Notification (PCN) requirements, including dossier creation and data readiness
• Plan and execute data migration for specifications, compositions, phrases, identifiers, and regulatory attributes
• Ensure compliance with global regulations such as GHS, REACH, CLP, EU UFI/PCN, TSCA, and local market rules
• Collaborate with SD, MM, PP, QM, and Supply Chain teams to embed compliance in business processes
• Prepare functional specifications and work with technical teams on enhancements, interfaces, and migration tools
• Lead end-to-end migration from non-SAP EHS/regulatory systems to SAP S/4HANA Product Compliance
• Support testing (Unit, SIT, UAT), cutover planning, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Product Compliance
• Proven experience migrating from non-SAP regulatory systems to SAP EHS
• Strong expertise in Product Safety, SDS, labeling, and WWI
• Hands-on experience with UFI generation and EU Poison Centre Notification (PCN) processes
• Experience with Dangerous Goods configuration and compliance checks
• Solid understanding of global regulatory frameworks (GHS, CLP, REACH, UFI/PCN, TSCA)
• Experience working in CPG or FMCG industry environments
