About the Role
The organization is looking for an experienced SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI) Professional with strong expertise in production support, troubleshooting, and ensuring system stability. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in SAP CI processes, billing and invoicing cycles, and a good understanding of integration across SAP BRIM components. This hybrid role requires the candidate to work from the office at least two days a week.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Support & Incident Management
- Manage daily production issues related to SAP CI to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis for billing and invoicing errors and deliver timely resolutions.
- Monitor CI processing, billing documents, invoicing logs, and end‑to‑end execution cycles.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to address defects and performance issues.
- Ensure SLA adherence and maintain accurate documentation of incidents and resolutions.
2. System Operations & Enhancements
- Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end billing cycles.
- Handle configuration adjustments, corrections, and minor system enhancements.
- Validate and test all CI‑related changes prior to deployment.
- Drive continuous improvements and optimization efforts within invoicing processes.
3. Integration & Collaboration
- Work with cross‑functional SAP BRIM teams including FI‑CA, Billing, and Subscription Order Management (SOM).
- Liaise with business stakeholders to understand issues and provide functional insights.
- Partner with technical developers for debugging, performance tuning, and custom development tasks.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Minimum 6 years of hands‑on experience in SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI).
- Strong understanding of CI process flows including:
- Charging Billing Invoicing cycles
- Billable Item Processing (BIF)
- Invoicing & FI‑CA Posting
- Proven experience in diagnosing and resolving CI production issues.
- Solid understanding of integration with SAP BRIM modules (FI‑CA, Subscription Billing, SOM).
- Experience with CI configurations, master data, and billing/pricing frameworks.
- Ability to perform end‑to‑end testing and support deployment cycles.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Good to Have
- Exposure to SAP BRIM end‑to‑end architecture.
- Basic ABAP debugging skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ITIL processes.
- Domain experience in Telecom, Utilities, or Subscription Billing.
