Job summary

PwC Acceleration Center India invites an SAP Controls & Security Associate to join our team and contribute to SAP-ERP risk and controls assessments, audits, and system readiness during pre‑implementation phases.

You will work with advisory, assurance, and technology resources, engage in testing IT general controls, and help clients strengthen security and compliance across SAP applications while developing your technical knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2–4 years of SAP compliance, security, and governance experience.
• Oral and written English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct SAP-ERP risk and controls assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Prepare and execute control test scripts to evaluate configurations and settings for automated controls.
• Document control activity narratives and manual control procedures for various business processes.
• Analyze and document exceptions in control‑related configurations within SAP.
• Testing IT general controls from a governance perspective, utilizing or without the use of Solution Manager.
• Reviewing RACI matrices and control owner documentation to validate accurate execution of key reports.
• Facilitating system readiness tasks during the pre-implementation phase of SAP projects.
• Assessing financial and operational controls around SAP applications to enhance security and compliance.
• Conducting pre- and post-implementation reviews of SAP implementations and major upgrades.
• Providing SAP project assurance services, including gate reviews and application security assessments.
• Supporting Sarbanes-Oxley readiness and controls optimization services.
• Facilitating risk and control matrix mapping exercises for various controls.

As an SAP Controls & Security Associate, you will engage in consulting services to enhance compliance and security within SAP applications. You will analyze client requirements, implement security measures, and provide guidance to help clients mitigate risks and protect sensitive data. Within our Cyber, Data & Tech Risk practice, you will contribute to optimizing operational efficiency by integrating business applications and enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives.

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor’s degree
• At least 2-4 years of experience of experience delivering SAP compliance, security, and governance solutions, including auditing, advisory, and implementation engagements
• Oral and written proficiency in English required

• At least one of the following: One or more Salesforce certifications aligned to enterprise system integration and platform delivery
• Demonstrating knowledge of SAP Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)
• Utilizing SAP BW/4HANA for data analytics and reporting
• Engaging in compliance auditing and governance frameworks
• Developing policies and guidelines for operational risk management
• Facilitating audit documentation and compliance review processes
