Job summary

Ernst & Young Advisory Services Sdn Bhd seeks a Consulting – FICO Senior Manager to lead SAP FI/CO initiatives within EY’s global SAP Finance team. You will oversee end-to-end SAP implementations, deliver scalable, compliant solutions, and drive leadership across onshore and offshore delivery models.

You will manage senior teams, guide project governance, and collaborate with clients to design optimized finance and controlling solutions, with a focus on innovation and value realization.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA / ICWA / ICMA or MBA Finance with 10+ years in ERP advisory.
• Experience in onsite-offshore delivery model.
• Project leadership of 10–15 members.
• Experience in end-to-end SAP implementations and related modules.

Responsibilities

• Develop methodologies, tools, approaches, thought leadership and accelerators for ERP advisory differentiation.

Position Title: Consulting – FICO Senior Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Manager to join our growing SAP Finance team within the EY Consulting Technology Consulting group. You will work on SAP Implementation projects worldwide, delivering innovative, scalable, and compliant solutions within the SAP FI/CO landscape.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, thought leadership and accelerators to differentiate EY in the ERP advisory market.
• Be involved in different phases of various ongoing SAP Implementation Projects and contribute effectively.
• Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinators.

Skills and attributes for success

• Skilled in “team leadership” – adhering to the project methodology and PMO processes/procedures, planning the data team’s work, leading local and offshore resources, reporting status, logging and escalating risks/issues/decisions, participating in program governance, etc.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with SAP Finance and Controlling Module.
• Effectively team with diverse skills and backgrounds and foster an innovative and inclusive team‑oriented work environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating enterprise domain knowledge with technology skills.

• Ability to lead a team of consulting professionals on multiple projects.

What we look for

• Candidate must be a qualified CA / ICWA / ICMA/ MBA Finance in a reputed institution with a sound industry/domain experience and SAP relevant experience with 10+ years.
• Experience of having worked in an onsite‑offshore delivery model.
• Project Management experience should be of leading at least a team of 10–15 members.
• Experience with leading business blueprint, gathering and documenting business requirements and designing SAP enabled solutions.
• Experience facilitating cross‑functional team members with complex schedules against a published plan.
• Development of project documentation including business process flows, training materials, requirements gathering and project management methodology experience required.
• Experience should be in End‑to‑end Implementation, Rollout, Support, upgrade, enhancements in the below areas.
• SAP Finance – FI‑New General Ledger & Profit Center Accounting, FI‑Accounts Payable, FI‑Bank accounting and FI‑Asset Accounting.
• Exposure on SAP Simple Finance – GL Accounting, Asset Accounting and CO – Overhead Cost Controlling & Profitability Analysis.
• SAP Finance – Taxation and Withholding Taxes.
• SAP Finance – Closing activities, Validations and Substitutions & Reporting.
• Controlling - CO-Cost element accounting CO-Cost Center Accounting and CO-Internal Orders.
• Knowledge on CO‑PA & Product Costing (Planning and cost object controlling).
• FI integration with MM, SD, HR & PS.
• Excellent business communication skills.
• Experience on FIORI APPS, BO-DS, BW, HANA and other reporting tools.
