Job summary

Artech L.L.C. in India is seeking an SAP Cash Application Specialist with 4–8 years of hands-on SAP FI-AP, EBS, and bank statement processing experience to support or implement payments and cash posting.

You will post high-volume payments, match remittance advice to invoices, investigate discrepancies, and perform daily bank reconciliations, contributing to accurate cash application and timely reporting across Pune/Chennai/Bangalore and Hyderabad.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAP FI-AP/AR experience in support or implementation projects.
• Experience with electronic bank statements (EBS) and OT83 configuration.
• Ability to post high-volume payments and perform remittance matching.
• Strong communication skills for client outreach regarding payment details.

Responsibilities

• Post daily high-volume cash, checks, wires, ACH, and card payments to customer accounts.
• Analyze remittance advice to match funds against invoices.
• Investigate short/overpayments, deductions, and unapplied cash with billing teams.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations to align ledger with statements.
• Prepare weekly cash receipt summaries and highlight unapplied cash aging.

Key Responsibilities

• Payment Processing: Post daily high-volume cash, check, wire, ACH, and credit card payments to customer accounts accurately.
• Invoice Matching: Analyse remittance advice to correctly match incoming funds against outstanding open invoices.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve short payments, overpayments, deductions, and unapplied cash by partnering with customers and internal billing teams.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliations ensuring total ledger deposits perfectly match bank statements.
• Reporting: Prepare weekly cash receipt summaries and highlight aging unapplied cash for management review

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 03-04 years of proven experience in SAP FI-AP, SAP FI-AR, Bank Communication Management (BCM), Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC), SAP Cash Application (intelligent/ML-based incoming payment matching), electronic bank statement (EBS) processing (FF.5/FF_5, FEBAN, FEBP), lockbox automation, and posting rules/search strings to maximize auto-clearing rates. SAP S/4 HANA experience in Cash management and Bank account management,
• Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills for professional outreach to clients regarding payment details.
• Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance.
