Job summary

Capgemini in Chennai seeks an SAP BW/4HANA expert to design and implement end-to-end BI solutions, including data modeling, extraction, and reporting.

You will collaborate with business teams to document requirements, validate ABAP CDS views for data provisioning, and optimize performance across BW/4HANA structures in a dynamic project environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and implementing SAP BW/4HANA solutions, including data modeling, extraction and reporting.
• Ability to discuss different business areas and prepare functional and technical documents (FDD & TDD), prototyping.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in performance optimization.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement SAP BW/4HANA solutions including data modeling, extraction, and reporting.
• Discuss business areas and prepare FDD & TDD, prototyping.
• Enable real-time data extraction and loading using ODP and SAP HANA.
• Integrate BW/4HANA with S/4HANA through ODP ABAP CDS views as Data Provisioning.
• Work with ADSO and Composite Providers to optimize data structures.

• Modelling, Extraction (LO, COPA, Finance, Generic extractor),
• Operational Data Provisioning (ODP): Use ODP for real-time data extraction and loading.
• SAP HANA: Leverage SAP HANA for high-performance data processing and analytics.
• Must have hands on experience in all areas of SAP BW/4 HANA, which includes ADSO , Composite providers etc
