Job summary

NTT DATA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS in Bangalore, Karnataka (IN-KA), India, seeks a SAP BW Consultant to join our team. You will provide technical SAP BW support including data extraction, ETL, process chains, InfoProviders, and BEx, with ECC module integration.

You will perform L1.5/L2/L3 production support, incident analysis, RCA, and on-call duties, while following ITIL processes and using ServiceNow or Jira for ticketing.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP BW components and data modeling.
• Ability to integrate SAP BW with SAP ECC modules.
• Strong ETL and data extraction skills for reporting workloads.
• Experience with SAP BEx and reporting tools.
• Familiarity with ITIL-based incident/change processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide SAP BW support: data extraction, ETL, process chains, InfoProviders, queries, BEx, and data loads.
• Support ECC integration and perform L1.5/L2/L3 production support for SAP ECC apps.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents within SLA.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues.
• Handle service requests and standard changes.
• Deliver minor enhancements and configuration updates.
• Support deployment activities and transport management.
• Coordinate with business users and technical teams.
• Prepare functional/technical documentation and knowledge articles.
• Participate in on-call support during critical periods.
• Ensure ITIL Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management compliance.
• Work with monitoring tools and ticketing systems like ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira.
• Support testing activities including UT, SIT, and UAT.
• Ability to work in shifts for multiple regional support.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for SAP BW including Data Extraction, ETL processes, Process Chains, InfoProviders, Queries, BEx, data loads, reporting issues, and performance optimization. Support integration with ECC modules.


• Provide L1.5/ L2/L3 production support for SAP ECC applications.


• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents within SLA.


• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.


• Handle Service Requests and standard changes.


• Deliver minor enhancements and configuration updates.


• Support deployment activities and transport management.


• Coordinate with business users, functional teams, and technical teams.


• Prepare functional/technical documentation and knowledge articles.


• Participate in on-call support during business-critical periods.
