Job summary

ERPTREE Consulting Services Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior SAP BW/4HANA Reporting Consultant to design and deliver end-to-end analytics solutions. The role focuses on SAP BW/4HANA, HANA data modeling, and integration with AFO and SAC reporting environments.

The candidate will work in a hybrid model, collaborating with ABAP, data migration, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable BW/HANA solutions for complex enterprise data landscapes.

Qualifications

• 8 to 12 years of SAP BW/HANA experience.
• Hands-on with BW/4HANA or BW on HANA, HANA modeling, and data flows.
• Experience designing enterprise reporting and analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop reporting solutions using BW/4HANA and HANA.
• Build and maintain BW data models including ADSO, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views and InfoObjects.
• Develop data flows from SAP S/4HANA and other sources into BW/HANA.
• Create reporting queries using BW Query Designer and Eclipse tools.
• Develop analytical reports using AFO and dashboards in SAC.
• Integrate BW/HANA models with AFO and SAC reporting solutions.
• Translate business reporting requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Participate in cutover, go-live and post go-live support.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP BW/4HANA Reporting Consultant with strong expertise in SAP BW/4HANA, SAP BW on HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP Analysis for Office (AFO). The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience designing and developing enterprise reporting and analytics solutions, integrating S/4HANA data sources, and supporting end‑to‑end SAP implementation projects.

Work Model: Hybrid

Shift: 5:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST (US Client)

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop reporting solutions using SAP BW/4HANA and SAP HANA.
• Build and maintain BW data models including:
• ADSO (Advanced DataStore Objects)
• Composite Providers
• Open ODS Views
• InfoObjects
• BW Queries
• Develop and manage data flows from SAP S/4HANA and other source systems into BW/HANA.
• Create reporting queries using BW Query Designer and Eclipse‑based tools.
• Develop complex analytical reports using SAP Analysis for Office (AFO).
• Design dashboards and analytics applications using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Integrate BW/HANA data models with AFO and SAC reporting solutions.
• Translate business reporting requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop calculated/restricted key figures, variables, filters, hierarchies, and reporting components.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation across source systems, BW/HANA, and reports.
• Analyze and optimize BW/HANA and reporting performance.
• Troubleshoot reporting, query, data, AFO, and SAC-related issues.
• Support Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, deployment activities, and defect resolution.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, ABAP developers, data migration teams, and business stakeholders.
• Prepare technical design documents, reporting documentation, and data‑flow specifications.
• Participate in cutover, go‑live, and post‑go‑live support activities.

• Experience in query and reporting performance optimization.
• Strong data validation and reconciliation expertise.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Hands‑on experience in at least one or more end‑to‑end SAP implementation projects.
