Job summary

Altraize is seeking an experienced ABAP cloud developer to design and build cloud-ready applications on SAP BTP ABAP Environment with RAP. You will implement CDS views and annotations for analytical and transactional use.

Responsibilities include creating service definitions and bindings for OData, supporting SAPUI5 interfaces, integrating with APIs and cloud connectors, and conducting code reviews to optimize performance across layers.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP BTP RAP and ABAP environments.
• Knowledge of CDS views and annotations for analytical/transactional use.
• Familiarity with SAP UI5/Fiori Elements for UI bindings.

Role Descriptions: Application Design Build cloud-ready custom applications using the SAP BTP ABAP Environment and RAP for both managed and unmanaged scenarios. Core Data Services (CDS) Create and optimize Interface| Projection| and Consumption CDS views with appropriate analytical or transactional annotations. Behavior Logic Implement Behavior Definitions| Behavior Implementations| validations| determinations| and draft handling. Services UI Develop Service Definitions and Service Bindings to expose OData services| supporting Fiori Elements and SAPUI5 user interfaces. Data Processing Use Entity Manipulation Language (EML) for complex transactional processing. Integration Connect SAP BTP applications with SAP and non-SAP systems via APIs| web services| and cloud connectors. Quality Assurance Conduct code reviews| ensure adherence to ABAP Cloud developer guidelines| and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks across layers.
