Job summary

EY is seeking a SAP BTP Developer (Senior) to join our SAP practice in Mumbai. You will work with SAP BTP, CDS, RAP, and UI5/Fiori to build and extend applications, focusing on delivering robust SAP solutions with strong front-end capabilities.

The role requires 5+ years of experience in SAP development, a solid understanding of ABAP, OData services, and SAP Fiori elements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement scalable, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAPUI5/Fiori and front-end extensions.
• Strong CDS data modeling and OData services development.
• Proficient in ABAP RAP for RESTful services.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP and related services.
• Experience with S/4 extensibility on BTP is a plus.

SAP BTP Developer - BTP, CDS, RAP, Fiori (Senior)

Job Purpose

• Build and extend Fiori applications using BAS
• Apply SDLC guidelines for all phases of solution implementation
• Provide UI design guidance including security considerations
• Immediate hot fixes on critical issues and configurations

Job Summary

We’re looking for 5+ years of an experienced SAP developer who knows their way around SAP technologies like SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Core Data Services (CDS), ABAP RESTful Application Programming (RAP), and SAPUI5/Fiori. Your job is to build and improve SAP applications using these tools.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/MCA with a sound industry relevant experience of 3‑5 years

Mandatory Skills

• Experience in SAPUI5 and Fiori elements‑based apps and extension in front end
• Experience in development of Core Data Services (CDS)
• Development of OData Services
• Experience in developing and consuming RESTful services using ABAP RAP framework to expose SAP data to external systems and applications
• Experience in developing Fiori Elements based apps and extension in front end
• Experience in extending standard Fiori applications
• Basic of ABAP
• Basic understanding of SAP BTP and services
• Good to have experience in S/4 key user extension, developer extension and Side‑by‑Side extensions using SAP BTP
• Excellent analytical skills, problem‑solving abilities, and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
• Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a collaborative environment
• SAP certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate) preferred but not required
