SAP BTP-IS B2B Lead

Job Summary

The candidate will take an active role in delivering projects and handling operations in SAP BTP-IS B2B at Schneider Electric environment and contributing to Schneider Digital.

Technical Skills and Experience

• 7+ years of hands‑on experience on the below topics
• Extensive experience in design, development and delivery of integration in SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI and SAP B2B integration
• Understanding of the functionalities of each EDI document (EDIFACT, ANSI, TRADACOM, etc.) based on the group segments
• Developing and maintaining complex mappings between SAP IDocs/APIs and EDI standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT, VDA, TRACACOMS)
• Expertise in designing EDI specifications, code‑lists and functional profiles
• Experience in stabilizing and operating complex SAP environments for EDI flows
• Experience in defining custom iFlows, local and exception sub‑processes, and exception handling
• Expertise in handling various integration adapters in SAP IS (SFSF, ODATA, SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, X400, OFTP, HTTP, Process Direct, REST Adapters) to exchange messages between sender and receiver
• Migrating EDI flows from one platform to another by understanding the basics of the flows
• Experience working with different EDI formats such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, Tradcoms, etc.
• Knowledge of SAP landscape, process architecture and the SAP application portfolio
• Ability to work in a diverse environment, using proactive communication and collaboration with different teams to achieve results
• Team player and self‑driven

Key Responsibilities

• Setup of EDI flows both inbound and outbound
• Maintain all connections with external partners using different protocols such as AS2, OFTP, X400, etc.
• Handle complex EDI mappings with extensive use of standard EDI functions
• Work on SAP PI/PO (PI, BPM, BRM) as the central broker in an integrated landscape
• Work on XSLT and Java mappings
• Develop agreements and manage trading partners in B2B Toolkit
• Create function profiles
• Knowledge of APIs and API management
• Handle certificates like AS2, SSL, PGP, etc.
• Knowledge of SAP CPI and BTP
• Develop value mapping and Groovy and use it in iFlow in SAP IS
• Experience in handling different data conversions such as JSON to XML, CSV to XML, etc.
