Job summary

Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS) in Hyderabad, Bangalore, or Indore seeks a senior SAP BTP Administrator to own SAP BTP operations across customer landscapes, including global accounts, subaccounts, entitlements, and identity management. You will also support SAP Basis and HANA administration for connected on-premise systems.

The role requires deep BTP operations experience, strong Basis background, and the ability to work across cloud and on-prem SAP environments. Immediate joining is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 10–12 years of experience in SAP technical administration, with at least 4 years in SAP BTP administration.
• Hands-on experience with BTP global accounts, subaccounts, entitlements, Cloud Foundry and RBAC.
• Experience with Cloud Connector, Destinations and connectivity to on-premise SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, SCM).
• Strong working knowledge of SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA, including HANA Cloud.
• Solid SAP Basis experience: monitoring, transports, user administration, OSS notes, BDLS, system copies and HANA upgrades.

Responsibilities

• SAP BTP Administration (primary focus): Set up and govern the BTP global account structure: directories, subaccounts, and naming and tagging standards across development, test and production.
• Manage entitlements, quotas and cost tracking, and raise capacity requests in line with project demand.
• Administer Cloud Foundry orgs and spaces and Kyma environments, including deployments, service instances and runtime health.
• Manage identity and access: trust configuration with SAP Cloud Identity Services and corporate identity providers, role collections, role templates and least-privilege access reviews.
• Configure and maintain connectivity: Destinations, Cloud Connector setup and high availability, and private connectivity to on-premise systems.
• Administer SAP HANA Cloud instances, SAP Integration Suite, and SAP Build and Work Zone as required by the customer landscape.
• Manage BTP transports and content movement through Cloud Transport Management.
• Monitor services, audit logs and alerts; set up and maintain BTP audit log retention.
• Maintain the BTP CLI and automation scripts for repeatable provisioning and housekeeping.

Job Summary

We are looking for a senior SAP BTP Administrator to own the administration of SAP Business Technology Platform across our customer landscapes. The primary focus is BTP: global accounts, subaccounts, entitlements, identity and access, connectivity and cloud-native runtimes. The role also carries SAP Basis and database administration responsibilities for the on-premise and hybrid systems that BTP connects to. The ideal candidate combines deep BTP operations experience with a solid Basis background and can work across cloud and on-premise SAP.

Responsibilities

SAP BTP Administration (primary focus)

SAP Basis Administration (secondary)

• Perform day-to-day Basis administration across development, test and production systems.
• Handle system monitoring, performance tuning and optimization for ABAP and HANA systems.
• Manage user administration, security, authorizations and transport management between systems.
• Plan and execute OSS note implementation, BDLS, system copies, client copies and refreshes.
• Support SAP HANA upgrades and perform post-upgrade checks.
• Provide Basis expertise during project cutovers and ensure stability through critical transition periods.

Database Administration (secondary)

• Administer database instances supporting SAP systems, including backup and recovery, space management and housekeeping.
• Monitor database performance, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and tune configurations.
• Plan and execute database patching, version upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime.
• Maintain database security, access controls and disaster recovery procedures, and test them periodically.

Communication and Documentation

• Maintain clear documentation of configurations, changes, runbooks and procedures.
• Communicate with project teams, stakeholders and end users, and provide regular status and health reports.
• Work with customers to define BTP governance, onboarding and operating models.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 10–12 years of experience in SAP technical administration, with at least 4 years in SAP BTP administration.
• Hands-on experience with BTP global accounts, subaccounts, entitlements, Cloud Foundry and role-based access control.

• Working knowledge of database administration for SAP-supported databases (backup, recovery, performance and patching).
• Familiarity with cutover processes and Basis support during critical project phases.
• Strong problem-solving skills and clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP BTP certification (for example, SAP Certified Technology Associate, SAP BTP) or SAP Basis certification.
• Experience with SAP Cloud Identity Services and SAP Integration Suite.
• Experience with Kyma, Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tooling for BTP.
• Scripting skills in Shell, Python or the BTP CLI.
• Familiarity with ITIL service management frameworks.
• Experience with hyperscaler landscapes (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud) under BTP.
