Job summary

Infosys is seeking an experienced SAP BPC specialist to join our consulting team in India. The role centers on designing and configuring SAP BPC, with hands-on work on planning objects such as aDSO and Planning Functions, and integrating BW/HANA where needed.

You will draft functional/technical specs, create AMDP-based functions (desirable), and participate in POC workshops and client demonstrations. You will plan configuration activities, conduct pilots, prepare effort estimates, and support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is mandatory with at least 5 years of SAP BPC experience.
• Experience in at least one area of planning or consolidation is required.
• Specialization in design and configuration of SAP BPC is required.
• Hands-on designing planning objects such as aDSO, Aggregation Level, Planning Functions, WorkStatus.
• Working knowledge of BW and HANA in the context of BPC is expected.
• Ability to write functional/technical specs for Fox planning functions.
• Desirable: AMDP-based planning functions and SAC planning capabilities.
• Desirable: BPC Consolidation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Join Infosys consulting team to diagnose issues and design innovative SAP BPC solutions.
• Develop proposals and contribute to solution design based on areas of expertise.
• Plan configuration activities and configure products per design, including pilots.
• Prepare effort estimates aligned with customer budgets and guidelines.

A day in the life of an Infoscion

• As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to get to the heart of customer issues, diagnose problem areas, design innovative solutions and facilitate deployment resulting in client delight.
• You will develop a proposal by owning parts of the proposal document and by giving inputs in solution design based on areas of expertise.
• You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design
• You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organization’s financial guidelines
• Actively lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers.
