Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced SAP BODS / Data Migration Consultant to design, develop, configure, and support complex ETL solutions.

You will build and maintain Jobs, Workflows, Dataflows, Scripts, and Transformations to migrate data from SAP ECC/S/4HANA and non-SAP sources. The role requires 5–10 years of hands-on BODS experience, strong SQL, data cleansing and validation skills, and the ability to collaborate with SAP functional and BASIS teams through all test cycles

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS).
• Strong knowledge of ETL concepts and data-integration architecture.
• Experience with Jobs and Workflows, Dataflows, Query Transformations, Scripts and Functions, Data Validation, Error Handling.
• Experience with BODS job monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Experience in data migration, data cleansing, and reconciliation.
• S/4HANA & Data Migration skills, ECC to S/4HANA migrations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and support SAP BODS ETL solutions.
• Develop and maintain Jobs, Workflows, Dataflows, Scripts, and Transformations.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and loading from multiple source systems.
• Develop interfaces between SAP ECC/S/4HANA, databases, flat files, and third-party applications.
• Support large-scale data migration and data-conversion activities.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and error handling.
• Develop and maintain batch jobs and schedules for data-processing activities.
• Monitor BODS jobs and troubleshoot failed or long-running jobs.
• Perform RCA and resolve data-load and performance issues.
• Optimize BODS jobs and dataflows to improve ETL performance.
• Support connectivity with SAP HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, and other platforms.
• Work with SAP functional, ABAP, Basis, database, and business teams.
• Support unit testing, SIT, UAT, cutover, and production deployment activities.
• Manage incidents, service requests, problems, and change requests within SLAs.
• Prepare technical specs, mapping docs, SOPs, RCA docs, and operational documentation.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, configure, and support SAP BODS ETL solutions.
Develop and maintain Jobs, Workflows, Dataflows, Scripts, and Transformations.
Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and loading from multiple source systems.

Prepare technical specifications, mapping documents, SOPs, RCA documents, and operational documentation.
Mandatory Skills
Strong hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS).
Strong knowledge of ETL concepts and data-integration architecture.

S/4HANA & Data Migration Skills
or S/4HANA transformation projects, experience in the following would be preferred:
SAP ECC to S/4HANA data migration
AP HANA integration
Data extraction and transformation from legacy applications
Master and transactional data migration
Data cleansing and validation
Data reconciliation
Cutover and mock migration activities
Understanding of SAP Migration Cockpit and other SAP migration tools
