Job summary

Tekskills in Ahmedabad, India seeks an experienced SAP Basis administrator to support basis operations and project delivery in a large enterprise. The role covers Oracle DBMS, Unix/Linux, and SAP components such as ECC, SRM, MDM, Portal, NWDI, and HANA.

Candidates should hold a DEC or IT degree and have 7+ years of hands-on experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams on change management, SDLC, and SOX.

Qualifications

• DEC or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years experience in Basis operation support and project delivery.
• Operational Basis administration experience in Oracle DBMS/Unix/Linux.
• SAP components: ECC, BWBPC, SRM, MDM, Portal, Mobile, NWDI.
• Business Objects and Content Server.
• Monitoring tool, SLD and Gateway administration.
• Support Packs & Kernel Upgrade.
• SAP / Oracle / OS memory management.
• System monitoring, tuning & Workload management.
• System Refresh/Copy.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Teamwork and collaboration with other departments.
• Planning and organizational skills.
• Understanding of change management, SDLC and SOX concepts in a large corporation.
• SAP Certifications (like Basis, OS/DB Migration).
• Working knowledge of SAP HANA.
