Job summary

Honeybee Tech Solutions is seeking experienced SAP APO ABAP Technical Specialists for a purely technical role. The candidate will focus on ABAP development, APO technical objects, interfaces, CIF integration, enhancements, debugging, performance optimization, and production support.

The role requires hands-on ABAP development skills, strong integration experience with APO and ECC/S/4HANA, and the ability to translate functional specs into technical solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of SAP ABAP experience for Specialist level.
• 10+ years of SAP ABAP experience for Senior Specialist level.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP APO ABAP Technical Development.
• Strong expertise in Core ABAP.
• Hands-on experience with: Reports and ALV; Interfaces; Enhancements; BAdIs; User Exits; BAPIs; RFCs; IDocs; Function Modules; Debugging; Performance Tuning.
• Strong understanding of SAP APO Technical Integration.
• Hands-on experience with CIF (Core Interface).
• Experience integrating SAP APO with ECC/S/4HANA and external systems.
• Ability to understand functional specifications and independently develop technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, maintain, and support SAP APO ABAP technical solutions.
• Analyze functional specifications and prepare technical designs and development solutions.
• Develop and maintain ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and technical objects.
• Work on SAP APO technical development and integration activities.
• Develop and support interfaces between SAP APO, ECC/S/4HANA, and external systems.
• Work on CIF from a technical development and troubleshooting perspective.
• Develop and support BAdIs, User Exits, BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, Function Modules, and enhancement frameworks.
• Perform complex ABAP debugging, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, defect fixing, and deployment activities.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP ABAP development standards.
• Prepare technical specifications, unit test documents, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with SAP APO Functional Consultants to understand requirements and provide appropriate technical solutions.
• For Senior Specialist level, independently own complex technical deliverables and provide technical guidance to other developers.
