Job summary

Infosys is seeking a SAC Planning and Reporting Consultant to work across financial planning domains, driving data modelling, integration with SAP ecosystem and solution design for client engagements. You will support proposal development, configuration activities and demos while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires hands-on SAC Planning experience, strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business needs into scalable planning solutions within SAP

Qualifications

• Must have 2-3 full lifecycle experience in SAP Planning technologies like SAP Analytics Cloud or SAP BPC (BPC Standard or Embedded in versions 10.1, 11, 11.1, 2021).
• 6-12 months experience in SAC Planning implementations with knowledge of SAC integration with S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, Native HANA, DWC.
• SAC Planning hands-on skills in data modelling, datasets, hierarchies, calculations, data wrangling and Predictive planning.
• Ability to develop value-creating strategies and models to drive growth and profitability.
• Knowledge of configuration management systems and awareness of latest technologies and industry trends.
• Strong logical thinking, problem solving and collaboration with clients.
• Understanding of financial processes across projects and pricing models; ability to propose tech solutions.
• Industry domain knowledge and project/team management experience.

Responsibilities

• A day in the Infosys consulting team: diagnose issues, design innovative solutions and drive deployment for client delight.
• Develop proposals by owning parts of the document and contributing to solution design inputs.
• Plan configuration activities, configure products per design, run conference room pilots, resolve queries on requirements and design.
• Conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC workshops and prepare effort estimates aligned to client budgets.
• Lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with high-value outcomes.

Job description

SAC Planning and Reporting Consultant

• Functional Knowledge of Financial Planning processes like Revenue Planning, Product cost planning, Profitability Planning, Workforce Planning, Opex Planning, Capex Planning, P&L Planning, Balance sheet and Cash flow planning including knowledge of cross process and information integration across the different planning processes
• Minimum 2 -3 full lifecycle experience in SAP Planning technologies like SAP Analytics Cloud or SAP BPC (BPC Standard or Embedded in any of the following versions 10.1, 11, 11.1, 2021)
• Must have 6-12 months experience in working on SAC Planning implementations. Excellent knowledge of integration of SAP Analytics Cloud with S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, Native HANA, DWC (Import and Write back)
• SAC Planning hands on knowledge on data modelling, preparing datasets, merging, appending, custom hierarchies, custom calculation, grouping, formatting values, data wrangling and knowledge of core SAP Analytics cloud planning features like Predictive planning etc.
• Ability to develop value-creating strategies and models that enable clients to innovate, drive growth and increase their business profitability
• Good knowledge on software configuration management systems
• Awareness of latest technologies and Industry trends
• Logical thinking and problem-solving skills along with an ability to collaborate
• Understanding of the financial processes for various types of projects and the various pricing models available
• Ability to assess the current processes, identify improvement areas and suggest the technology solutions
