Ciklum is seeking a SAP Analytics Cloud & Datasphere Consultant to join our India team on a full-time basis. You will design analytic apps, dashboards, and data models using SAC and Datasphere, integrating multiple data sources for enterprise analytics.

The role requires deep SAC/Datasphere expertise, strong scripting skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams within an Agile environment. This position is based in India and offers opportunities to work with global clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a IT-related field.
• 8–12 years of overall experience with 2–3 years on SAP SAC/Datasphere as a Consultant/Analyst/Developer.
• Proven SAC planning/forecasting and KPI reporting experience with Datasphere integration.

About the role:

As a SAP Analytics Cloud & Datasphere Consultant, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop analytic applications using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP
• Datasphere, focusing on KPI and analytical models that support strategic business initiatives
• Build interactive dashboards and KPI applications in SAC for both import and live scenarios, leveraging data sourced from SAP Datasphere and other platforms
• Create scalable, secure, and governed data models in SAP Datasphere to support advanced analytics and reporting use cases
• Integrate SAC dashboards seamlessly with SAP Datasphere datasets, ensuring up-to-date and consistent analytics for end users
• Utilize predictive scenarios, R-visualizations, and external libraries to create immersive and insightful user experiences in both SAC and Datasphere environments
• Continuously optimize dashboard and application performance across SAC and Datasphere, while providing recommendations for enhancements and identifying bottlenecks
• Develop and document Business Objects Universes, reports, and dashboards, ensuring accuracy and alignment with enterprise data standards
• Connect, model, and harmonize data from SAP and non-SAP sources in Datasphere, facilitating cross-system analytics through SAC
• Design comprehensive reports with multiple tabs, queries, visualizations, and drill-down capabilities tailored to business requirements
• Apply best practices in data visualization and user experience, enhancing accessibility and adoption of solutions built on SAC and Datasphere
• Demonstrate expertise in data integration, connectivity, and modelling across SAC, Datasphere, and other data platforms
• Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and drive continuous performance improvement
• Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to team members, fostering knowledge growth in SAC and Datasphere technologies
• Establish and maintain best practices for software quality, documentation, and project delivery within agile and scrum frameworks
• Customize SAC applications using scripting languages (such as JavaScript) and leverage advanced features in Datasphere for data orchestration and automation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contributing to the solution design and integration of SAC and Datasphere in end-to-end business processes

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable degree
• Overall, 8-12 years of experience and at least 2-3 years’ experience working on SAP SAC / Datasphere solutions as a Consultant, Analyst, Developer or relevant role
• Proven experience designing and implementing solutions utilizing SAC for planning, forecasting, and KPI reporting, as well as integrating with SAP Datasphere and upstream processes
• Expertise with SAC predictive functionality, Smart features (Smart Assist, Smart Predict, Smart Discovery), advanced story canvases, data blending, cross-calculations, input controls, and linked analysis
• Skilled in connecting SAC and Datasphere to varied data sources, including SAP HANA, and external databases
• Proficiency in SAP Datasphere for building unified, harmonized, and governed data models to serve enterprise analytics
• In-depth understanding of data integration and ETL processes across SAC, Datasphere, and other analytics platforms
• Advanced scripting abilities in SQL, Python, and JavaScript to enable data manipulation and automation within both SAC and Datasphere environments
• Experience with SAC scripting for creating custom widgets and analytics applications, as well as automating data flows in Datasphere
• Understanding of SAP related Finance and/or Operations processes will be valued
• Certification in one or more of the following will be appreciated: SAC Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Low-Code/No-Code Developer
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an Agile environment
