Job summary

Alstom Transportation in Bangalore is seeking a full-time SAP Analytics - BW Technical Specialist to design the technical architecture and lead complex BW on HANA implementations.

You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end BI solutions, govern BI and Data Analytics, and ensure a scalable, secure SAP Analytics platform.

The role rewards leadership, collaboration, and problem solving as you drive analytics across Sales, Logistics, Finance, and Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in CS/engineering/tech or related field.
• 8-10 years of SAP BW on HANA experience, with 6+ years in BW on HANA 7.5 modeling.
• Strong knowledge of Info Provider and Process Chain administration.
• Experience with hybrid modeling, SDI, SDA, and data integration.
• Expertise in ECC extractors, BADI/ABAP; AMDP knowledge a plus.
• Techno-functional across Sales, Logistics, Finance or Engineering.

Could you be the full-time SAP Analytics - BW Technical Specialist in Bangalore we're looking for

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your SAP BW on HANA expertise in a cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You'll play a crucial role in providing business-driven, end-to-end solutions that meet our customers needs, enabling them to gain insights from our enterprise data. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business, including the Shared Services Team, Digital Platform Team, Innovation Team, Application Platform Owners, and the Infrastructure Team, to develop strategies, implement solutions, and ensure a stable and scalable SAP Analytics platform.

You'll specifically take care of designing technical architecture and leading complex implementations, but also animating and reinforcing BI and Data Analytics governance.

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience with SAP BW on HANA, including at least 6+ years of hands on experience in BW on HANA 7.5 modeling.
• Strong knowledge of Info Provider Administration, Process Chain Administration, BW Trace Tool, and LSA++ architecture.
• Experience with hybrid modeling scenarios, data acquisition, SDI (Smart Data Integration), and SDA.
• Expertise in SAP ECC extractors, including builds and enhancements using BADI and ABAP (AMDP knowledge is a plus).
• Techno-functional knowledge in one or more functional areas, such as Sales, Logistics, Procurement, Finance, or Engineering.
• Good to have: SAP Certification on SAP BW on HANA 7.5, experience with SAP Business Objects 4.3, and exposure to SOLMAN 7.2 charm.
• Strong collaboration, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• A proactive mindset with leadership capabilities and the ability to influence and deliver results.
