Job summary

TRUGlobal Inc. seeks an experienced ABAP Developer with 10+ years in SAP ECC and S/4HANA. The role focuses on ABAP on HANA, CDS views, AMDP, and backend services, with strong emphasis on Fiori apps on SAP BTP and integrations via SOAP/REST APIs.

You will enhance standard SAP functionality using the enhancements framework (BADI, user exits, enhancement spots) and contribute to performance-tuned reports and forms across the SAP landscape.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of ABAP development in SAP ECC and S/4HANA
• Strong experience in ABAP on HANA, AMDP, and CDS views
• Expertise in CDS views, including consumption and composite views
• Proficiency in AMDP and Native SQL for performance tuning
• Experience in SAP Fiori apps on SAP BTP
• Expertise in enhancements framework – BADI, User exits, Enhancement Spots
• Experience with SOAP/REST services and API design
• Form development in SAP Script, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms
• ALV/Tree/OL E controls in module pool programming
• OO programming and code optimization/performance tuning

Responsibilities

• Develop ABAP-based solutions for ECC and S/4HANA landscapes.
• Implement performance improvements using AMDP and Native SQL.
• Design and consume CDS views and OData services for SAP apps.
• Create and extend SAP Fiori apps on BTP and backend services.
• Leverage enhancements framework (BADI/User exits/Enhancement Spots).
• Build reports using ALV and interactive ALV events.
• Develop forms (SAP Script, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms).
• Work with EDI/IDOC, ABAP proxies, and backend integrations.

Job description

At least 10+ years of experience in ABAP development in SAP ECC & S/4 HANA

• Good experience in ABAP on HANA, AMDP, code push down techniques, CDS views, Business Object Processing Framework (BOPF) and backend oData services
• Experience in developing applications in various modules including FI/CO and MM.
• Expertise in Core Data Services (CDS) Views, including consumption and composite views.
• Proficiency in ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) and Native SQL for performance tuning.
• Good experience of SAP Fiori applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Expertise in enhancing standard SAP functionality leveraging standard enhancements framework – User exists, Business Transaction Events (BTE), Business Add Ins (BADI), Enhancement Spots (Implicit & Explicit).
• Expertise in SOAP and REST based services, and API design.
• Form Development experience in SAP-Script, Smart-forms and Adobe Forms.
• Module pool programming experience using custom controls (ALV/Tree/Image), OLE embedding, etc,
• Experience in EDI IDOC developments, Distribution model configuration, change pointers activation and ABAP proxies.
• Expertise in report programming using ALV, drill down and interactive using ALV events
• Experience in developing applications using object-oriented programming techniques.
• Experience in code optimization, performance tuning and runtime analysis
