Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited in Zaheerabad, Telangana, is seeking a SAP ABAP Technical Manager to lead development across SAP modules, focusing on ABAP core, RICEFW components, and modern SAP frameworks. The role requires collaboration with functional teams to deliver scalable SAP solutions.

The ideal candidate will drive technical design, performance tuning, and integration efforts for SAP Fiori and SAP Integration Suite, while guiding incident resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong SAP ABAP development experience across manufacturing environments.
• Experience with RICEFW development and SAP Fiori OData services.
• Exposure to SAP RAP and CDS views considered a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP Integration Suite and API-based integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support SAP technical developments across various SAP modules.
• Develop and maintain SAP objects under the RICEFW framework: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows.
• Build and support OData Services for SAP Fiori and external integrations.
• Develop applications and extensions using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Assist in technical design, code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to understand requirements and provide effective technical solutions.
• Support integration scenarios and interfaces leveraging SAP Integration Suite.
• Ensure adherence to development standards, documentation practices, and quality processes.
• Participate in incident resolution, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically strongSAP ABAP Technical manager to join our automotive manufacturing client based in Zaheerabad. The ideal candidate should possess strong SAP ABAP core programming skills, experience in modern SAP development frameworks, and a good understanding of key business processes across manufacturing and supply chain functions.

The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP applications while collaborating with functional and business teams to deliver robust and scalable SAP solutions .

Qualifications

Preferred Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Experience Range: 4-7 Years

Candidate Profile

• 4-7 years of relevant SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
• Experience supporting SAP developments in manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
• Experience in the automotive industry will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Independently develop, enhance, and support SAP technical solutions.
• Assist project teams in SAP development activities and technical troubleshooting.
• Collaborate effectively with business users, functional consultants, and integration teams.
• Deliver high-quality developments within agreed timelines and standards.

Integration

• Understanding of SAP Integration Suite and SAP integration concepts.
• Knowledge of API-based integrations and interface development.

Functional Understanding

Working knowledge of business processes in:

• Sales and Distribution (SD)
• Production Planning (PP)
• Quality Assurance / Quality Management (QA/QM)
