PwC India invites experienced SAP professionals to join the Acceleration Center India as a SAP ABAP CRM Senior Associate. You will contribute to SAP CRM delivery, work with business users, and support end-to-end delivery across Advisory, Assurance, Tax and Business Services.

The role emphasizes technical design, development and client collaboration, with ongoing skill growth in a global environment. You will analyze complex issues, guide junior team members, and help shape how SAP CRM solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 5+ years of experience in SAP CRM
• Strong hands-on SAP CRM technical development and ABAP skills
• Experience with SAP CRM Web UI, middleware, and integration concepts

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize SAP CRM components including ABAP programs, reports, interfaces and workflows
• Analyze functional specs and translate them into technical designs
• Work on SAP CRM Web UI components using BSP/BOL/GenIL and UI configuration
• Handle CRM middleware integrations and data replication with ECC/S/4HANA
• Debug and resolve complex SAP CRM issues across SIT/UAT/production cycles
• Prepare technical specs, unit test scripts and deployment notes

As a SAP ABAP CRM Senior Associate you will support business application consulting work within our SAP technology practice, helping clients improve operational efficiency through SAP software solutions, configuration, development, and support. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex issues, manage assigned workstreams, build client connections, and help guide junior team members while developing your own technical skills and business understanding. In this role at PwC, you will contribute to SAP ABAP CRM delivery activities, use critical thinking to address evolving client needs, and support work that helps shape how business applications are deployed and used across client environments.

Responsibilities

• Work on SAP CRM technical development, customization, enhancements, and production support.
• Analyze functional specifications and prepare technical design document
• Develop and enhance SAP CRM Web UI components using Component Workbench.
• Work on BSP, BOL/GenIL, CRM Web UI , and UI configuration enhancements.
• Implement enhancements using: BADIs, User exits, Enhancement spots, Implicit/explicit enhancements, Business transaction events.
• Develop custom ABAP objects including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
• Work on SAP CRM business objects such as: Business Partner, Activities, Opportunities, Leads, Service Orders, Complaints, Sales Orders, Trade Promotions, if applicable.
• Support and enhance CRM One Order Framework objects.
• Handle integration between SAP CRM and SAP ECC/S/4HANA using CRM Middleware.
• Monitor and troubleshoot middleware queues such as: SMQ1, SMQ2, SMW01, BDOC monitoring.
• Work on IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, Web Services, and external system interfaces.
• Perform debugging and root cause analysis for complex SAP CRM issues.
• Support defect resolution during unit testing, SIT, UAT, and production support.
• Optimize performance of custom ABAP and CRM Web UI developments.
• Prepare technical documentation, unit test scripts, code review documents, and deployment notes.
• Coordinate with functional, basis, security, and integration teams for end-to-end delivery.
• Follow PwC/client project delivery standards, coding guidelines, and quality processes.

What You Must Have

At least a Bachelor’s degree
At least 5 years of experience
Oral and written proficiency in English required

Required Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience in SAP CRM technical development.
• Good knowledge of ABAP programming including: Reports, Function modules, Classes and methods, BAPIs, BADIs, User exits, Enhancement framework, RFCs, IDocs
• Experience in SAP CRM Web UI development and configuration.
• Strong understanding of: BSP, BOL/GenIL, Component Workbench, UI configuration, Navigation bar profile, Business roles
• Experience with CRM Middleware and data replication between CRM and ECC/S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of CRM One Order Framework.
• Ability to debug standard SAP CRM processes and custom developments.
• Experience in preparing technical specifications from functional requirements.
• Good understanding of SAP CRM master data and transactional data.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in SAP CRM implementation, rollout, upgrade, or AMS/support projects.
• Knowledge of SAP CRM modules such as: Sales, Service, Marketing, Interaction Center, Trade Promotion Management.
• Knowledge of ECC/S/4HANA integration with SAP CRM.
• Exposure to pricing, conditions, order management, and billing integration.
• Knowledge of Web Services, OData, SOAP, REST, or PI/PO integration.
• Experience with SAP Workflow and Adobe/Smart Forms.
• Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, or PwC delivery methodology.
• SAP CRM certification is an added advantage.
