Job summary

Civica UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Salesforce Lead Engineer to drive strategic Salesforce solutions and lead a globally distributed team of developers. You will shape architecture, mentor engineers, and deliver scalable, high-impact implementations across Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud.

You’ll partner with stakeholders to translate complex business needs into elegant technical designs, champion Salesforce best practices, and advance CI/CD practices while staying ahead of platform

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Strong expertise in Apex, LWC and Visualforce.
• Proven experience leading, coaching or mentoring development teams.
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
• Strong experience in Salesforce configuration and customisation.
• Experience building integrations with third-party applications and enterprise systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• A problem-solving mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

You are someone who combines deep technical expertise with a passion for leadership.

You’ll bring:

• 7+ years of hands‑on Salesforce development experience.
• Strong expertise in Apex, LWC and Visualforce.
• Proven experience leading, coaching or mentoring development teams.
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
• Strong experience in Salesforce configuration and customisation.
• Experience building integrations with third‑party applications and enterprise systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• A problem‑solving mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

You’ll Stand Out If You Have

• Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification.
• Experience with Salesforce DX and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to Salesforce CPQ.
• Experience with Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (MCAE/Pardot).
• Data migration and enterprise integration experience.
• Background working within Agile delivery environments.
