Job summary

Heptarc in Bengaluru, India is looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and implement custom Salesforce solutions with a focus on Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud. You will build and maintain LWC, Apex, and integrations, ensuring scalable and secure architectures while collaborating in Agile teams.

The role requires 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development, deep knowledge of Salesforce data model and security, and certifications in Platform Developer

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Salesforce Developer experience with Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, LWC and Apex.
• Strong Salesforce architecture, data model and security knowledge.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs for integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement custom Salesforce solutions on the Salesforce Platform using LWC, Apex, and Experience Cloud.
• Develop and maintain Salesforce applications, components, and integrations.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and adhere to coding standards.
• Develop and maintain Experience Cloud sites with aligned UI and business requirements.
• Customize Salesforce Platform including objects, fields, workflows, and flows; implement Sales Cloud and Service Cloud features.
• Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs and middleware.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders; participate in Agile processes; provide guidance to team members.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews; deploy changes following change management.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Development:

• Design, develop, and implement custom solutions on the Salesforce Platform utilizing LWC, Apex, and Experience Cloud.
• Develop and maintain custom Salesforce applications, components, and integrations.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and adhere to best practices and coding standards.

Experience Cloud:

• Develop and maintain Experience Cloud sites, ensuring a seamless user experience and alignment with business requirements.
• Customize Experience Cloud pages and components to provide a robust user interface.

Salesforce Platform customization:

• Customize and configure Salesforce Platform to meet business needs, including creating custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and flows, Apex, Batch Apex, etc.
• Implement and optimize Salesforce Sales Cloud features such as Leads, Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts, and Reports/Dashboards.
• Implement and optimize Salesforce Service Cloud features such as Case Mangement using different channels, Knowledge Management, Omni-Channel, etc.

Integration:

• Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs and middleware.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues as they arise.

Collaboration and Communication :

• Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other team members and stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Testing and Deployment:

• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and Code Reviews to ensure the quality and functionality of developed solutions.
• Deploy changes to production environments following established change management processes.

  Qualifications:

  Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  Experience:

  • Proven experience (4+ years) as a Salesforce Developer, with a focus on Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, LWC, Apex, and strong Salesforce Platform concepts
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.
  • Experience with Salesforce integration tools and techniques, such as REST/SOAP APIs.

  Skills:

  • Proficiency in Apex, JavaScript, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  Certifications:

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I and Salesforce Experience Cloud certifications are required.
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud/Service Cloud Consultant certification is a plus.
