Job summary

IQVIA, a leading global provider of clinical research services and healthcare insights, seeks a Cloud Engineer / Salesforce Engineer with 3-5 years of Salesforce development experience. You will design, configure, develop, and support Salesforce-based solutions used in patient support programs and related initiatives.

You will build scalable cloud-based solutions, work with Apex, LWC, flows, REST APIs, and integration services, and participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 4-5 years Salesforce platform development experience.
• Healthcare domain experience with Scheduling platforms such as Schedulo or Salesforce Field Service.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Salesforce-based solutions for patient support programs.
• Develop and support applications on the Salesforce platform with Apex and LWC.
• Configure Salesforce using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, validation rules, approval processes, and security models.
• Provide integrations between Salesforce and external applications via REST APIs and web services.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.

• Designs/develops software solutions requiring general domain knowledge and developing business experience.
• Works at all layers of the application stack including front-end user interface and backend development.
• Analyzes user requirements/needs and makes decisions within limited parameters under regular supervision.
• Supports and may lead projects within own organization with limited complexity, including the development of small to medium size system components.
• Has broad understanding of quality standards and work requires minimal revision.
• Reviews functional specifications and other validation deliverables as assigned.
• Provides peer support and helps on-board new Associate Software Engineers to the team.

Cloud Engineer / Salesforce Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce platform development and cloud-based application support.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, developing, enhancing, and supporting Salesforce-based solutions used in Patient Support Programs, AllCare, and Market Dynamics initiatives.

Develop and support applications on the Salesforce platform.

Configure and customize Salesforce using:

• Apex
• Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Flows
• Validation Rules
• Approval Processes
• Custom Objects
• Permission Sets
• Security Configuration

Build scalable and maintainable cloud-based solutions that support patient engagement and operational workflows.

Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.

Develop integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST APIs and web services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience
• 4-5 years of experience in Salesforce platform development and cloud-based application support
• Healthcare domain experience (Patient Hub/Patient Support Programs) and familiarity with Schedulo or Salesforce Field Service scheduling platforms
