Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a DevOps Architect in Bangalore, Karnataka, India to provide architectural guidance and lead CI/CD initiatives across application teams. • 8+ years of DevOps experience with 2+ years in architecture/leadership.
• Proven ability to design enterprise CI/CD architectures using Copado and GitLab.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab branching strategies.
• Design of high availability, disaster-recovery, scalability, resiliency, and zero-downtime deployments.
• Strong architecture, troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate architecture and technical decisions to engineering teams and stakeholders.

• Evaluate existing DevOps environments and develop modernization roadmaps.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to define end-to-end technical solutions.
• Conduct architecture reviews to ensure security, reliability, scalability, and governance.

We are currently seeking a DevOps Architect to join our team in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership to application teams and DevOps engineers
• Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Copado, GitLab
• Participate in technical discussions with stakeholders, translate business requirements into DevOps architecture, and communicate architectural decisions and trade-offs.
• Mentor teams and promote automation, standardization, reusable solutions, and continuous improvement across the organization
• Troubleshoot complex CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, deployment, integration, and production reliability issues.
• Define branching, source-control, artifact-management, release-management, and deployment strategies.
• Integrate automated build, testing, security scanning, quality gates, approvals, and deployment processes into CI/CD workflows.
• Evaluate existing DevOps environments, identify architectural and operational gaps, and develop modernization and automation roadmaps.
• Collaborate with application development, cloud, infrastructure, security, QA, database, networking, and operations teams to define end-to-end technical solutions.
• Conduct architecture and design reviews to ensure solutions comply with organizational security, reliability, scalability, and governance requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of strong DevOps experience including 2+ years in an architecture or technical leadership role handling complex architectures
• Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise CI/CD architectures using Copado, GitLab
• Experience with source control and branching strategies using Git, GitHub, GitLab
• Experience designing high-availability, disaster-recovery, scalability, resiliency, and zero-downtime deployment solutions.
• Strong architecture, troubleshooting, technical documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate architecture and technical decisions effectively to engineering teams, leadership, security teams, and business stakeholders.
