Job summary

Hear.com is seeking a hands-on Salesforce Developer to own complex features end-to-end across a modern stack, including Apex, LWC and integrations with external systems.

You will design scalable solutions, drive technical design, build, deploy and monitor production features while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on Salesforce development with real integration breadth.
• Strong experience in Apex, LWC and Aura development.
• Proficient with REST/SOAP integrations, Named Credentials and middleware.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows and version control (Git).
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and microservices is a plus.
• Platform Developer I certification is required; PD II preferred.

We're looking for a hands-on Salesforce Developer to own complex features end-to-end from architecture through production across a modern stack that goes well beyond core Salesforce, including event streaming, microservices, integrations, and telephony.

What You'll Do

• Design and build scalable solutions across Apex, LWC, and Aura, following clear architectural standards.
• Own features end-to-end: technical design, build, deployment, and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot production issues and lead root-cause analysis on complex defects.
• Build integrations with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, Named Credentials, and middleware.
• Work with event-driven/streaming architectures (e.g. Apache Pulsar) and microservices.
• Contribute to telephony/CTI integrations for sales and contact-center flows.
• Run code reviews and pair programming; mentor mid-level and junior developers.
• Use AI-assisted tools (Claude Code, Copilot, etc.) to ship faster and better.

Core Salesforce Expertise

• Apex: Triggers, Batch, Queueable, Schedulable, Platform Events.
• Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura.
• Data modeling, SOQL optimization, bulkification.
• Flows, Validation Rules, declarative automation.
• CI/CD, Git, SFDX or similar deployment tooling.
• Salesforce security model: sharing, FLS, roles, profiles, permission sets.

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years hands-on Salesforce development with real integration breadth.
• Platform Developer I certification required; PD II preferred.
• Proven track record delivering complex features independently.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills on multi-layered, cross-system issues.
• Comfortable with JavaScript/Node.js, Python, or middleware beyond the SF ecosystem.
• Experience with Agile/Jira workflows across distributed teams.

Nice to Have

• Salesforce Einstein/Agentforce; prompt engineering.
• Workflow automation (e.g. n8n) and LLM integrations.
• Event streaming (Pulsar/Kafka), containerized microservices, observability tooling.
• Dialer/telephony and CTI experience
