Job summary

Linesight is hiring an experienced Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and support scalable Salesforce solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams, implement best practices, and contribute to platform optimisation and release management.

The role requires strong technical expertise within Salesforce, problem-solving skills, and collaboration with stakeholders and development teams. RCA and CPQ exposure is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Salesforce development experience in a commercial environment.
• Hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and integrations with external systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and APIs.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
• Support and enhance Salesforce Sales Cloud and optimise performance and security.
• Participate in code reviews, design sessions, and release management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable Salesforce solutions that drive business value and enhance user experience across the organisation. This role requires strong technical expertise within the Salesforce platform, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders and development teams. Experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA) and/or Salesforce CPQ is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST, SOAP, Platform Events, and middleware platforms.
• Support and enhance Salesforce Sales Cloud
• Implement best practices for development, security, code quality, and release management.
• Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, and solution architecture discussions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, providing timely root cause analysis and remediation plans.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, deployment guides, and support procedures.
• Contribute to platform optimisation initiatives, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Work within Agile delivery teams and actively participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.

Required Experience And Skills

• 8+ years of Salesforce development experience in a commercial environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Apex
• Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• SOQL and SOSL
• Salesforce Flows
• Salesforce APIs and integrations
• Experience working within Salesforce Sales Cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data modelling, sharing and security architecture.
• Experience developing integrations with enterprise applications and third-party platforms.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Salesf orce Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA).
• Experience with Salesforce CPQ implementation, configuration, and customisation.
• Knowledge of pricing, quoting, contracting and order management processes.
• Experience with Salesforce Industries, Revenue Lifecycle Management, or related Salesforce product suites.
• Exposure to MuleSoft or other integration platforms.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Gearset, JIRA, Provar, etc.
• Experience working in enterprise-scale Salesforce environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (required).
• Salesforce Platform Developer II certification (preferred).
• Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification (preferred).
• Additional Salesforce certifications are advantageous.
