You will collaborate with business, development, QA, risk, and compliance teams to deliver controlled changes and maintain platform stability. A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration or platform operations experience in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security and sharing model, including roles, profiles, permission sets, and OWDs.
  • Experience supporting deployments, change management, release coordination, testing, and production validation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage users, roles, profiles, permission sets, queues, public groups, sharing rules, and delegated administration.
  • Provide day-to-day platform support, onboarding/offboarding, license management, and password resets.
  • Configure and maintain objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, flows, reports, dashboards, and email settings.
  • Monitor system health, storage, integrations, data quality, and platform adoption; resolve issues.
  • Coordinate deployments across Development, QA, UAT, Staging, and Production environments.

Who we are looking for

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Salesforce Administrator & Devlopment Operations Analyst to support the secure, reliable, and efficient operation of our Salesforce platform. This role combines hands-on platform administration with security governance, deployment coordination, release management, production support, and audit readiness. The successful candidate will collaborate with business, development, QA, risk, and compliance teams to maintain platform stability and deliver controlled, high-quality changes across the Salesforce environment.

What you will be responsible for
Salesforce Administration
  • Manage users, roles, profiles, permission sets, permission set groups, queues, public groups, sharing rules, and delegated administration.
  • Perform user onboarding, offboarding, access changes, license management, password resets, and day-to-day platform support.
  • Configure and maintain standard and custom objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validation rules, flows, reports, dashboards, and email settings.
  • Monitor system health, storage, scheduled jobs, integrations, data quality, and platform adoption; identify and resolve operational issues.
  • Maintain configuration documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.
Security & Access Governance
  • Administer object-level, field-level, and record-level security in alignment with least-privilege principles and business requirements.
  • Conduct periodic access reviews, profile and permission set assessments, inactive-user reviews, and segregation-of-duties checks.
  • Investigate and resolve data visibility, sharing, login, authentication, and access-related issues.
  • Support security controls such as multi-factor authentication, login IP ranges, session settings, connected app access, and audit monitoring.
  • Partner with security, risk, and compliance teams to remediate control gaps and maintain evidence for governance reviews.
Development Operations, Deployment & Change Management
  • Coordinate and execute deployments across Development, QA, UAT, Staging, and Production environments using approved tools and processes.
  • Manage release calendars, deployment plans, change records, approvals, deendency checks, validation steps, rollback plans, and stakeholder communications.
  • Collaborate with developers and testers to package, review, validate, and proote Salesforce metadata and configuration changes.
  • Support source control, branching, pull request, CI/CD, and environment mangement practices using tools such as Git, Salesforce DevOps Center, Copado, Gearset, or Azure DevOps.
  • Perform pre-deployment readiness checks and post-deployment smoke testng, validation, monitoring, and issue resolution.
Salesforce Release Management
  • Monitor Salesforce seasonal releases, critical updates, maintenance notificaions, and platform deprecations.
  • Assess business and technical impact, coordinate sandbox preview testing, document findings, and track required remediation.
  • Communicate relevant platform changes, risks, and new capabilities to adminstrators, developers, business teams, and leadership.
  • Plan and execute release-readiness activities to minimize disruption and maintain platform compatibility.
Audit, Compliance & Governance
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing accurate evidence for user access, configuration, data changes, deployments, and change approvals.
  • Maintain auditable records for releases, access reviews, production changes, incidents, exceptions, and control validations.
  • Monitor Salesforce Setup Audit Trail, Login History, Field History Tracking, Event Monitoring, and other available audit capabilities.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational change management, security, data governance, and compliance standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve controls, operational procedures, automaion, and reporting.
Production Support & Continuous Improvement
  • Triage and resolve incidents, service requests, defects, and user-reported issues within agreed service levels.
  • Perform root-cause analysis for recurring issues and coordinate permanent corrective actions.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and deliver sustainable platform improvements.
  • Support user communications, release notes, training materials, and adoption activities for new capabilities.
  • Track platform operations metrics and provide clear status, risk, and issue updates to stakeholders.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration or platform operations experience in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce security and sharing model, including roles, profiles, permission sets, organization-wide defaults, sharing rules, and field-level security.
  • Experience supporting deployments, change management, release coordination, testing, and production validation.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce configuration, Flow, reports, dashboards, data management, and troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator; Advanced Administrator certification is an advantage.
  • Experience with Salesforce DevOps Center, comparable CI/CD tools.
  • Experience supporting audit, compliance, risk management, access recertification, or regulated enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce sandboxes, metadata dependencies, deployment troubleshooting, APIs, integrations, and data loading tools.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices, incident management, problem management, and change control
