Job Title: TMT Sales Officer
Industry: Building Materials (TMT Bars / Steel Products)

Roles & Responsibilities
1. Primary Sales Management
- Achieve monthly and quarterly primary sales targets for TMT bars.
- Coordinate with distributors and dealers to ensure timely ordering and billing.
- Maintain strong relationships with distributors and ensure product availability.
- Track daily/weekly primary sales performance and report to the Sales Manager.
2. Secondary Sales & Market Development
- Drive secondary sales by regularly visiting retailers, fabricators, builders, and contractors.
- Expand market presence by adding new retailers, fabricators, and project customers.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, schemes, and market trends.
- Conduct market mapping to identify high‑potential areas for sales growth.
3. Dealer & Retailer Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relations with dealers and retailers to ensure continuous business.
- Help dealers with branding, display boards, shop branding, and promotional activities.
- Resolve dealer/retailer issues related to product, pricing, or supply.
4. Field Activities & Market Support
- Conduct regular field visits for secondary sales tracking.
- Organize influencer meets with engineers, masons, and contractors.
- Support marketing campaigns and on‑ground promotional events for TMT products.
- Collect and communicate feedback regarding market demand and customer requirements.
5. Sales Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare daily sales reports, beat plans, and visit schedules.
- Coordinate with logistics and dispatch teams to ensure on‑time delivery.
- Manage and update distributor stock levels, indents, and secondary sales data.
Key Skills Required
- Strong experience in building materials/TMT/steel product sales.
- Good knowledge of primary & secondary sales processes.
- Dealer management and market development skills.
- Communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to work independently in field sales.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, reporting & data tracking.
Qualifications
- Any Graduate (MBA/PGDM in Marketing preferred).
- 2-6 years of sales experience in TMT bars or building materials.
