Area Sales Manager – Distribution Sales (Fans and Geysers) – Madurai/Thirunelveli

Responsibilities
- Analyze customer segmentation and sales trends in terms of demographics, geography, and characteristics to assess potential for business
- Conduct branch trainings for all banking partners on regulatory guidelines and products
- Plan activation of branches through R&R activities to increase penetration and realize full potential of bank partners in the given geography
- Manage relationships with banking partners
- Drive campaigns/contests for partner banks to boost sales in profitable segments
- Assist banking partners in pitching products to crucial customers and driving sales closure
- Identify cross‑sell opportunities for existing customers
- Acquire new banking partners: gather market information, analyze partner profile and customer mix, identify best product fit from BGIL portfolio, assess profitability and viability of partnership
- Schedule meetings with prospective banking clients and brief them about BGIL products
- Provide service orientation and engage cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless execution across channels
- Collect relevant documents from customers post‑sales and submit to operations; gather additional data as required
- Resolve operational issues faced by partners to ensure smooth experience
- Support partners in registering claims on behalf of customers and coordinate approvals within agreed timelines
- Provide support for cancellation requests and policy endorsements; process & track requests in coordination with internal ops team ensuring ease of process and approvals for partners
