Role Overview
The Sales Head will be responsible for leading and managing the overall sales strategy of the organization with a strong focus on land sales. This leadership role involves driving revenue growth, achieving sales targets, managing sales teams, building strong client and channel partner relationships, and supporting the company’s market expansion and brand positioning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Land Sales Management
- Lead and oversee end-to-end land sales operations to achieve defined sales targets.
- Develop and execute strategies to attract retail investors, corporate buyers, and channel partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and key stakeholders.
2. Target Achievement
- Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Track individual and team performance and provide guidance to meet objectives.
3. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to maximize productivity and performance.
- Conduct regular training sessions to improve sales techniques, negotiation, and closing skills.
4. Sales Reporting & MIS
- Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Present sales performance, forecasts, and strategic insights to senior management (MD, CEO, CFO, HR Head).
5. Client & Channel Partner Management
- Identify, onboard, and manage channel partners to expand market reach.
- Negotiate deals, ensure smooth closures, and maintain long-term partnerships.
6. Market Research & Strategy
- Conduct ongoing market research to analyze trends, competition, and pricing.
- Provide strategic inputs to management for improving sales performance and market penetration.
7. Compliance & Documentation
- Oversee preparation and verification of sales-related agreements, contracts, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with real estate laws, regulations, and internal company policies.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in real estate sales, specifically land selling, with a strong record of achieving or exceeding targets.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting systems.
- Strong analytical skills for sales forecasting and market analysis.
Communication & Leadership
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage high-performing sales teams.
Market & Legal Knowledge
- In-depth understanding of real estate market dynamics, pricing, and legal compliance.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
- MBA (Sales/Marketing/Real Estate) preferred.
