Job summary

NF Forgings Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Safety Stewards for its West Bengal operations.

The role focuses on enhancing HSE performance, leading safety initiatives, and ensuring compliance across EPC-type projects. Based at the Corporate Office in Kolkata, you will engage with engineering and operations teams to identify hazards and drive corrective actions. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE (minimum 5 yrs)
• Experience in industries listed (steel, aluminium, cement, mining, refineries, etc.)
• Certification in HSE management such as NEBOSH or OSHA is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and standards

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in safety audits and assist in preparing documentation for compliance assessments

• Proven ability to lead teams and manage HSE programs in complex engineering environments.
• Experience in Steel Plants, Aluminium Plants, Cement Plants, Mining, Material Handling Systems, Coal Handling Plants, Refineries, Power Plants, or Process Industries.
• Participate in safety audits and assist in preparing documentation for compliance assessments.
• Effectively train and influence diverse teams.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to address and mitigate identified risks.
• Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety devices among workers.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to conduct training and liaise with teams.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Candidates

• Relevant qualification/certification
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in HSE for EPC Projects
• At least 5 years as Safety Steward at project sites
• Certification in HSE management such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and standards
• Experience in Steel Plants, Aluminium Plants, Cement Plants, Mining, Material Handling Systems, Coal Handling Plants, Refineries, Power Plants, or Process Industries
