Job summary

EY in India seeks a Manager SAP SAC Planning / EPM Consultant to lead end-to-end planning implementations and drive finance transformation initiatives. This role focuses on SAP SAC Planning, Datasphere/HANA modelling, and AI-enabled capabilities like SAP Joule.

The candidate will design models, data actions, and security configurations while collaborating with cross-functional teams on large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in SAP Analytics Cloud Planning solutions.
• Experience leading end-to-end SAP Analytics Cloud Planning implementations.
• Strong knowledge of SAC security configuration.
• Experience with SAP Datasphere/HANA modelling or BW.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of SAP Analytics Cloud Planning solutions, including requirement gathering, solution design, build, testing, deployment, and support.
• Design and build SAC Planning Models and Dimensions with attributes & hierarchies.
• Develop Data Actions, Multi-Actions, and Allocation processes to support driver-based planning.
• Configure planning workflows, version management, and data locking for governed cycles.
• Design SAC Stories, Unified Stories, and Digital Boardrooms for exec and operational reporting.
• Build optimized stories with advanced scripting for complex planning use cases.
• Expertise in SAC security configuration.

Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Manager SAP SAC Planning / EPM Consultant to lead end-to-end planning implementations and drive finance transformation initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, client-facing EPM engagements, leveraging SAP SAC, BPC, and emerging AI capabilities such as SAP Joule.

Your Key Responsibilities

SAP SAC Planning – Implementation & Delivery

• A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in SAP Analytics Cloud Planning solutions.
• Lead end-to-end implementation of SAP Analytics Cloud Planning solutions, including requirement gathering, solution design, build, testing, deployment, and support.
• Design and build SAC Planning Models and Dimensions, including public and private dimensions with attributes and hierarchies.
• Develop Data Actions, Multi-Actions, and Allocation processes to support driver-based planning and automation.
• Configure planning workflows, version management, and data locking to enable governed planning cycles.
• Design and develop SAC Stories, Unified Stories, and Digital Boardrooms for executive and operational reporting.
• Build Optimized stories with advanced scripting to support complex planning and analysis use cases.
• Expertise in SAC security configuration.

SAP Datasphere/HANA Modelling

• Leverage 2-3 years of hands-on SAP HANA Modelling experience or Datasphere and SAP BW experience in implementation.
• Design and develop SAP HANA Calculation Views to support SAC Planning and Reporting use cases.
• Perform data modelling, transformations, and performance optimization in SAP Datasphere.
• Collaborate with SAC planning teams to ensure optimal data structures and model performance.

Soft Skills & Competencies

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey ideas in both technical and business friendly language
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills
• Highly process oriented with a structured approach to solution design
• Ability to work independently and lead complex engagements
• Strong documentation and knowledge sharing mindset

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Experience in BW
• Good understanding on SAP BDC, Datasphere Seamless planning and SAP Joule and AI.

What we look for

• Experience working on large scale finance transformation or planning initiatives
• Exposure to competitor EPM tools is a plus
• Ability to mentor junior consultants and contribute to capability building
• Expertise in delivering the process definition document post workshops. Preparing the system design document by mapping client requirements. Capable to work with the team on sprint planning for the delivery.
