Job Description/Position Description

The Finance Consultant SAP S/4HANA Support is responsible for providing functional and technical support for SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules within the SAP S/4HANA environment. The role focuses on maintaining system stability, resolving incidents, implementing minor enhancements, and ensuring smooth business operations across all finance processes. The consultant will work closely with business users, technical teams, and other SAP functional consultants to deliver high-quality solutions that align with business and compliance requirements.

Job Role/ Your future duties and responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day production support for SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling modules (FI, CO).
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Cost Center Accounting (CCA).
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accurate financial postings and reconciliations.
• Assist in the configuration and testing of system changes and enhancements in alignment with change management processes.
• Coordinate with technical (ABAP/BASIS) and integration teams for issue resolution and performance optimization.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit, and accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
• Prepare functional specifications for custom developments, reports, and interfaces.
• Support data migration, validation, and testing for new releases or rollouts.
• Provide training end user support to finance teams and end-users.
• Document all configurations, test results, and support procedures in SAP Solution Manager or equivalent tool.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• Primary Skill: SAP Certified Application Associate SAP S/4HANA for Financial Accounting Associates.
• Secondary Skill: SAP Certified Application Associate Management Accounting 4.
• 8 years of hands‑on experience in SAP Finance and Controlling (FI/CO).
• Strong understanding of business processes in accounting, controlling, and reporting.
• Experience in production support environments, including incident, change, and problem management.
