Job summary

Accenture, a global professional services leader, is seeking an Analyst in Technology Consulting to help clients optimize cloud spend and implement FinOps practices across multi-cloud environments. You will work with CIOs, CTOs and CFOs to translate business goals into cost-aware cloud strategies.

You will lead cost-optimization initiatives, design governance models, support pre-sales, and leverage tools like Apptio or native cloud cost management to deliver measurable value for enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• MBA from Tier-1 College preferred.
• 3-6 years of large-scale consulting in Cloud, FinOps or IT spend management.
• FOCP or equivalent certifications.

Responsibilities

Principal Duties

• Lead strategic FinOps discussions with clients, identifying cost-saving opportunities and aligning cloud financial management with business objectives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders including CIOs, CTOs, CFOs, and Cloud Center of Excellence teams.
• Analyze cloud and on-premise spend data to identify cost optimization opportunities across compute, storage, network, and licensing.
• Design and deliver cost governance models, optimization roadmaps, and actionable recommendations using Accenture's IP and assets.
• Support pre-sales and sales efforts by shaping FinOps propositions, building client pitches, and participating in proposal development.
• Identify and develop new FinOps opportunities within existing and new client accounts.
• Leverage strong cloud architecture knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, other CSPs) to recommend cost-efficient designs and architectures.
• Knowledge of on-prem infrastructure cost modeling and software licensing optimization.

Qualification

• 3-6 years of large-scale consulting experience and/or working with hi tech companies in Cloud, FinOps, IT spend management

Experience

• We are seeking experienced professionals who have led end-to-end client engagements, including strategic FinOps assessments, business case development, stakeholder alignment, and implementation of tooling and processes to improve financial accountability in cloud operation.
• Led cloud cost optimization initiatives across multi-cloud or hybrid environments, delivering measurable savings and improving cost governance frameworks for enterprise clients.

• The right candidate should have competency and skills aligned to one or more of these archetypes -
• Strategic FinOps Expertise: Strong understanding of FinOps principles and ability to align cloud spend with business value, including budgeting, forecasting, and chargeback/showback models.
• Cloud Cost Optimization: Proven ability to identify, analyze, and deliver cost-saving opportunities across AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI and other CSP environments.
• Cloud Architecture Knowledge: Solid grasp of cloud-native services, architecture patterns, and cost-efficient design principles.
