Job summary

• Support Azure cloud architecture workstreams within advisory and transformation engagements — contributing to architecture assessments, reference architecture documentation, and design analysis under the guidance of senior architects.
• Develop current‑state assessments of client Azure environments covering compute (Virtual Machines, AKS, Azure Functions), storage (Blob, Files, NetApp), networking (Virtual Network, ExpressRoute, Azure Virtual WAN), databases (Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Synapse), and Azure security and governance configurations.
• Contribute to cloud security architecture workstreams — researching Azure security patterns, documenting Entra ID configurations, mapping network segmentation designs using Azure Firewall and NSGs, and supporting the development of Zero Trust architecture recommendations.
• Support FinOps analysis and reporting — collecting and analysing Azure cost data using Cost Management and Advisor, identifying Reservation and rightsizing opportunities, modelling Azure Hybrid Benefit scenarios, and contributing to cost optimisation roadmap documentation.
• Support IaC and platform engineering workstreams — documenting infrastructure patterns, researching Bicep, ARM, and Terraform standards, and contributing to governance framework documentation.

Qualifications & Certifications

Foundational experience in cloud security architecture — familiarity with Entra ID, Azure NSGs, network segmentation patterns, encryption configurations, and compliance‑aware architecture concepts; able to research and document security patterns under senior guidance.
