NHS Golden Jubilee University National Hospital in Scotland is recruiting a Band 5 Rotational Physiotherapist to join the Rehabilitation Team, supporting patient recovery across orthopaedic and cardiothoracic services.
You will work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team, contribute to enhanced recovery pathways, maintain clinical records and partake in education and governance activities. Flexible working options are considered.
At NHS Golden Jubilee University National Hospital, we’re proud to play a key role in supporting NHS Scotland by delivering high-quality, person-centred care. As a modern national facility with state-of-the-art clinical services and specialist teams, we help ensure patients across Scotland receive timely, safe and effective treatment.
We are currently recruiting for a Band 5 Rotational Physiotherapist to join our Rehabilitation Team, offering an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting patient recovery and rehabilitation across a range of specialist services.
The Golden Jubilee University National Hospital provides elective orthopaedic surgery to patients from across Scotland and is home to the West of Scotland Heart & Lung Centre. As part of our rotational programme, you will gain experience across a range of specialist clinical areas, supporting patients through their rehabilitation journey and contributing to the delivery of exceptional care.
As part of our Rehabilitation Team, you will work as an autonomous practitioner providing high-quality assessment, treatment and advice to patients across National Elective Services and the Heart, Lung & Diagnostics divisions. Working alongside physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, nursing staff and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will help deliver safe, effective and patient-centred rehabilitation services.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and progressive environment where your contribution will directly improve patient outcomes and support enhanced recovery following cardiothoracic and orthopaedic surgery. Successful candidates will also have the opportunity to gain experience within Scotland’s only heart transplant service.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and patient-focused Physiotherapist who is keen to develop their skills within a national specialist hospital environment.
Experience in Orthopaedics, Critical Care or the NHS would be advantageous but is not essential. Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy is desirable.
You will be proactive, organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage a busy caseload and work effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes unpredictable clinical environment.
