InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a Room Attendant in Amritsar to ensure each guest room meets high standards of cleanliness and comfort. You will aid guests, communicate with your supervisor, manage supplies to cut waste, and help locate lost items while supporting occasional deep cleaning tasks.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to read and write, and a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• It’s a physical role and you’ll be on your feet most of the day; fitness is important.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms and/or pushing/pulling heavy objects.
• Literacy skills – reading, writing and basic maths.
• Flexible attitude to shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Make sure every room is at its absolute best for guests.
• Assist guests with needs and guidance (toiletries, directions, etc.).
• Keep supervisor informed of progress or problems.
• Monitor and control supplies to minimise waste.
• Reunite guests with any lost or misplaced items.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects as required.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Making sure every single room is at its absolute best for our guests
• Helping our guests in any way you can – whether they’ve forgotten their toothbrush or just need to find the elevator
• Keeping your supervisor in the loop by advising them of any progress or problems
• Monitoring and controlling supplies to minimise waste
• Doing your best to reunite guests with any lost or misplaced items
• Regularly assisting with deep clean projects

What We need from you:

• It’s a physical role and you’ll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is important

• You may need to bend and kneel to complete some activities
• Literacy skills - reading, writing and basic maths skills
