Job summary

Sunrise Biztech Systems Pvt. Ltd. in Bangalore is seeking a Validation Engineer 3 to join our esteemed client project.

You will validate robotics software and hardware, develop automated test frameworks, and work across ROS2, Gazebo, and fleet APIs. The role involves SIL/HIL validation, sensor calibration, and multi-robot coordination. You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help ensure safety and performance across AMR systems while integrating validation

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant validation experience in robotics software/hardware.
• Hands-on experience with ROS2, Gazebo, simulation tools, and test frameworks.
• Experience building automated validation and integrating with CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute risk-based validation plans for robotics software and hardware.
• Develop automated test frameworks using Python, C++, pytest, gtest/gmock.
• Validate ROS2 nodes, Nav2 navigation stack, and fleet APIs.
• Build and run simulation scenarios with Gazebo/Ignition or Isaac Sim.
• Perform SIL/HIL validation for AMR controllers and sensors.
• Test LiDAR, cameras, IMU, encoders, odometry, and calibration.
• Validate SLAM, localization, path planning, obstacle avoidance, and multi-robot coordination.
• Ensure fleet management and VDA5050 compliance; integrate into CI/CD.
• Mentor junior validation engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Role & responsibilities

• Define and execute risk-based validation plans for robotics software and hardware.
• Develop automated test frameworks using Python, C++, pytest, gtest/gmock.
• Validate ROS2 nodes, Nav2 navigation stack, and fleet APIs.
• Build and execute simulation scenarios using Gazebo/Ignition or Isaac Sim.
• Perform SIL/HIL validation for AMR controllers, LiDAR emulators, and safety sensors.
• Validate LiDAR, depth cameras, IMU, wheel encoders, odometry, and sensor calibration.
• Test SLAM, localization, path planning, obstacle avoidance, and multi-robot coordination.
• Validate fleet management, traffic control, task allocation, and VDA5050 compliance.
• Execute AMR safety validation including emergency stop, zone monitoring, and speed limits.
• Perform performance, reliability, latency, throughput, and stability testing.
• Integrate automated validation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with cross-functional engineering teams and mentor junior validation engineers
