Job summary

Virtusa Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Automation Tester with 6+ years of experience to drive test automation using Python Robot framework. The role involves in-sprint automation, cross-platform testing, and strong CI/CD integration. A face-to-face interview is required for final rounds.

Key duties include automating tests across platforms, managing test cases, and ensuring robust defect management within cloud and on-prem environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Automation Testing experience with tools like Selenium, ParaSoft, DB testing.
• Hands-on experience with Robot framework and cross-platform test automation.
• Knowledge of CI tools and code integration practices.

Responsibilities

• Automate tests across multiple platforms and technologies.
• Apply automation across the full development lifecycle.
• Utilize Robot framework for in-sprint automation tasks.
• Manage test cases and defect lifecycle with relevant tools.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps) to integrate tests.
• Support cloud deployment testing and non-functional testing as needed.

Experience of Agile Software Development & Testing methods for deployment in cloud environments.

Previous development experience, cloud migration testing experience and Capital markets experience would be an added advantage
