Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a Full-Time Diploma in Civil Engineering from an Institution recognized by BTE/AICTE or a University. Those with higher qualifications (Degree / PG Degree) in Civil Engineering are also eligible.

Minimum Post-Qualification Experience: 02 years in the relevant field of Engineering.

Note: The period of training (except on-the-job training) / internship / teaching / academic / fellowship / PhD research experience will not be counted as part of experience.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for applicants is 40 years as of the cut-off date, which is 22.11.2026.

Age relaxations are applicable as per Government of India rules:

• SC/ST Category: 5 years
• OBC-NCL Category: 3 years
• Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 years (in addition to category-specific relaxation)

Selection Process

The selection process for Senior Technical Assistant will consist of:

• Written Test: An objective type test with 125 questions, each carrying one mark, for a duration of 2.5 hours. There will be no negative marking. A minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) in the written test is required for further consideration.
• Document Scrutiny: Candidates shortlisted based on the written test results and number of vacancies will undergo document verification.
