Job summary

Ernst & Young Advisory Services Sdn Bhd is hiring a Risk Analytics - SQL and ETL Developer with 2-4 years of hands-on experience in SQL development, ETL, data modeling and data warehousing. The role focuses on building robust data pipelines, optimizing complex queries and supporting analytics at EY.

You will work on enterprise-grade ETL platforms, collaborate with data engineers and business teams, and contribute to scaled data solutions in a dynamic global environment.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in SQL development, ETL, data management and data validation.
• Exposure to data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques.

We are looking for a team player who brings strong expertise with 2-4 years of experience inSQL Development, ETL, Database Management, Data Modeling, and Data Validation, along with exposure to data warehousing and performance tuning.

• Expert-level proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience in:

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining:

• Strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts including:
  • Star Schema
  • Snowflake Schema
  • Fact & Dimension Tables

• Experience working with large-scale relational and analytical databases such as:
  • SQL Server
  • Oracle

• Strong understanding of data extraction, transformation, and loading processes across multiple systems.
• Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or equivalent.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient ETL solutions.
• Experience investigating and resolving data issues using SQL and ETL troubleshooting techniques.
• Exposure to Python for automation, scripting, or data processing is preferred.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and Agile ways of working.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Banking/Financial Services domain is preferred.
